Lovely wee cafe - Edit
Staff are really welcoming and helpful here. Everything is vegan. Lots of pasties and cakes. A wee eco shop in the back for household items. Great coffee and pain au chocolat! Also had the avocano (avocado alternative) on toast which was delicious. Would totally come back again.

Gorgeous food - Edit
This place is kind of tiny, we were worried we wouldn't find anywhere to sit, but thankfully managed to squeeze in at the window . The food is fantastic, the Mac and cheese was insane, and so was the chilli. Only quirk was that the Mac and cheese came with 2 slices of garlic bread (which were incredible btw, immensely garlicky, and the bread was so good), but the chilli didn't. What chilli wasn't taken up a level by adding garlic bread? I spared one of my slices for my partner's chilli, which went down well.

Only place for miles and it’s great - Edit
The posh type of vegan cafe rather than scruffy type. Sort of place you’d wish on any town. Food, service, choice, decor all well done. Place to dispel any hair-shirted notions of being vegan.

Vegan yes, but a bit boring - Edit
They run out of wraps when I got there for lunch so I only got soup as the sandwiches seemed more like a snack size. The soup was okay but nothing special. To be fair: the bread was the best I had in my three weeks in the UK so far - it deserved to be called bread.
Read moreWhen I asked for more bread (without anything on it) they first wanted to charge me 4£ (in comparison: soup with bread costs 5.5£) 🤯
Pros: Good sourdough bread
Cons: Overprized

Friendly, popular café - Edit
I popped in for weekend lunch. The café was busy and seating was limited (it’s a small place). I found a spot by the window and had a breakfast sandwich with soup, slice of cake, and a matcha latte. The food was tasty, but the portions a bit small. Service is friendly but can be slow - I got my cake and latte within about 10 min, but the soup and sandwich took closer to 30 min. I think the kitchen was overwhelmed with the large lunchtime crowd so my order got lost, but the café rushed out my meal once I pointed this out and provided me with a second piece of cake on the house to make up for it. I’d happily return and recommend this café to anyone in Fort William.

It was such a joy to have a cute, tasty offering cafe in Fort William. We appreciate good coffee and tea of which The Wildcat does too! We tried all their toasties and wish we could have ate it every day we were there. Sadly they were closed most of the days we were there but we planned ahead and tried as many things there as our stomachs could handle! Would definitely recommend, vegan or not!

Perfect and freshly made food! - Edit
We had 3 different dishes which all were gread, freshly cooked and full of whole food ingrediants. Later we took a bread and some cookies to go. The bread tastes as it does in Germany/Switzerland. Meaning it‘s real sourdough bread.
