Lots of vegan options - Edit
Love that they have lots of options but I wouldn’t say anything stood out as really good, not bad, but not great. We tried 4 different things.

Lots of mediocre vegan options - Edit
Lots of options, which is a plus! Especially in Stillwater. Unfortunately everything is kind of meh. Tofu is soggy.

Vegan and gluten free options! It's delicious! They even have cauliflower wings with dipping sauces all vegan! Love their Thai lettuce wraps with mushrooms! Pad Thai is amazing! Actually all their bowls I'd recommend!! 🤤

Love the onion rings - Edit
I’m really impressed with the amount of vegan options and clear labeling.
Read moreThe onion rings with fry sauce were great. I can’t believe they have vegan mayonnaise…The tofu sushi was not at all what I was expecting and not my favorite. The pad Thai bowl was VERY rich and has a strong peanut flavor; a little much imo.
Overall, happy to have this as an option and would come back to try other items.

Many options, I would go back. - Edit
I had the vegan Pad-Thai with cauliflower-falafel and split an order of onion rings and fry sauce with my mom. The portions were good. I preferred the Pad-Thai which was very good, over the onions rings which were average. I would happily go back to try their many other vegan options.

Options make me happy 😊 - Edit
The style of this venue was fun and sassy. I just got off a long road trip to see my buddy and it felt nice to feel like I didn’t have to be dolled up to get some quality food. The staff was both funny and efficient.

Great vegan options for Stillwater, MN - Edit
We loved our experience at The Wild Hare.
Read moreThe vegan options are marked with a V on the menu, and the wait staff was also knowledgeable about our questions. You also have the option to modify any of the dishes by subbing tofu.
They have a lot of choices, enough that it's hard to choose which dish to order!
The food is very good.
Tofu can be added to any dish.
They also offer juices and health tonics if you want to go healthy.
Pros: multiple vegan choices, vegan clearly marked on the menu

A LOT of vegan options - Edit
The Wild Hare has a LOT of vegan options. They also have non-vegan options which makes it easy to go out to eat with others that aren't vegan.

Cons: Parking options aren't the greatest, They close at 9. I wish they were open until 10.

Lots of options - Edit
The wild hare had many vegan and gluten-free options. It was nice to have a variety of choices rather than just the small handful that traditionally bars/restaurants have.
Read moreThe portions were not huge but I was full. I had the Korean bbq bowl w/ tofu. It was tasty but I was expecting there to be more vegetables. I enjoyed the dining experience and would go back.
Pros: Menus were clearly marked , Food was tasty , Many choices

90s Vegan Vibes - Edit
Their plentiful vegan and gluten-free options caught my attention; the 90s aesthetic decor and music kept it.
Read moreCAULAFEL BALLS -
fried cauliflower-falafel balls that were so tasty and perfectly crunch. They came with a tangy dipping sauce. Vegan and GF.
CHILI CILANTRO SWEET CORN -
The perfect blend of spices and seasonings, completed with a spicy mayo. A perfect appetizer to share...or not. 10/10 would order again. Vegan and GF.
Fries - I asked for Moroccan seasoned fries but they gave me regular ole salted fries. They were actually very good though.
ONION RINGS -
I was curious about gluten-free onion rings. The batter is different. Not surprised they're gf, based on the taste. Not bad. Not "good", but just ok. I wouldn't order them again. Vegan and GF.
SAUCES -
I cannot tell you how happy I was to have so many vegan sauce options! I loved the horseradish aioli, buffalo aioli, and fry sauce. All delicious! I tried them on every savory meal item.
CHOCOLATE PIE -
This chocolatey dessert was very good. Rich chocolate paired with the freshest of fruits.
The place is bright with plenty of seating. There are a few spots with outlets in case you need to do some work-work or homework. Service was pretty good too.
There was so much more that I wanted to try. I hope to find myself near Stillwater again next year so that I can explore their menu some more.

Good, but portions are ridiculously small. Order 2 or 3 entrees or pre-eat. - Edit
My wife and I went to celebrate my birthday. We shared an appetizer and each ordered a Korean bowl. When the entrees arrived, they appeared to be a half or child portion (big bowl with a small amount of food). We were both still hungry and were hoping for the large vegan chocolate chip cookie dessert that they had last time, but we were out of luck. We both left hungry and disappointed. In retrospect, I should have complained earlier, or ordered an additional entree. I probably won’t go back.

We tried them right after they opened and loved the options we had. It was a lot of cauliflower for the vegan options, but it was all delicious! Will definitely try again!

So many options! - Edit
My bestie is GF and I’m vegan and we were both able to choose from so many items! I couldn’t believe how many options there were. I had the onion rings with Moroccan seasoning (to die for) and a side of cilantro aioli (vegan!!!), the Korean bowl with tofu (chefs kiss) and a rump shaker for a drink. So, so, so good.

Vegan options in Stillwater - Edit
A number of vegan options clearly indicated on the menu - the Korean bowl in particular has great flavor. You can get it with extra veggies or tofu. Unfortunately the fryer is shared with non-vegan items (like cheese curds and wings). Fun selection of juices, cocktails and mocktails, however tap beer selection is pretty minimal. Seating is kind of snug which was a little uncomfortable as we tested the waters being covid mindful. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Reservations recommended - a very popular new restaurant with limited walk-in seating availability.
