Good TLAT - Edit
Got the TLAT, asked for double tempeh but didn’t look like they gave me that. Pretty skimpy with the tempeh still. But was good. Just came with tortilla chips and salsa. Good coffee.

Decent option - Edit
They have two permanent vegan options: the vegan burrito and vegan ‘BLT’ with bacon flavored tempeh, which are really good. They always have plant milk available for their coffee. I’ve also seen vegan muffins/cookies sometimes.

Just ‘ok’ - Edit
There’s some options but not many and they weren’t worth it to us. Maybe for a cup of coffee but I’d rather eat elsewhere

Best Place Around - Edit
Not gourmet but lots of vegan options, great coffee, awesome tea menu, local art work.
Read moreHours are different (less) in winter! Call first to avoid disappointment. In winter it's cold as heck inside. Let's just say sitting in here reminded me of an ice hotel I went to outside of Quebec that had a cafe inside. It's not quite that cold but prepare to bundle up!
Also if u need wifi for a long project or something, heads up they give u a code that lasts for two hours.
In summer there's outdoor seating in front on the main street.
Addendum: Not quite vegan enough to merit its own listing on Happy Cow but The Asylum (one block over) has an AWESOME black bean burger, regular or sweet potato fries, hummus and veggie plate, spring rolls and killer local music.

Good vegan lunch option - Edit
This place is your typical hipster coffee house. They have a good variety of vegan options such as veggie burger and a tempeh BLT. They offer gluten free bread and I’m pretty sure also gluten free tortillas. The coffee selection looked good and they offer vegan milks. A little pricey for the amount of food but I would return.

Cool Vibes, Vegan Options - Edit
Quite a decent selection of vegan and vegetarian options! We both enjoyed our lunch, and each had something different. Plus, a nice glimpse into a cool diverse looking community

Great little cafe! - Edit
Unexpected and lovely little find! We are traveling across the country to Virginia and were struggling to find a place to grab lunch. Came across this and they were super flexible, adapting smoothies to make them vegan for our toddlers and also adjusting a breakfast item to make it vegan too. The healthy wrap was delicious and a great, light lunch for a road trip. Staff was super helpful and patient!

Nice place - Edit
Mother Fakin BLT is good. A bit skimpy of the bacon but good. Comes with side of marinated noodles. They didn't have any vegan desserts the day I visited.
Read morePros: A few vegan food items. Lots of smoothies and, teas.
Cons: Skimpy for price. Sandwich was almost $10.

Pretty good overall - Edit
Cute, quaint, and charming coffee shop with some good vegan options. My husband and I had each of the two tempeh BLT’s (mine had the avocado and sprouts), and we both loved them. I had a delicious pumpkin latte with soy milk... which the barista screwed up by putting on whipped cream when I specifically said make it vegan and saw the cashier write no whipped cream on the ticket, but she was polite and quick about giving me a new/correct one. Prices were reasonable. My biggest complaints: the menu doesn’t clearly label vegan items or options, and in appearance things are much more vegetarian oriented than vegan.

Cons: Not enough vegan options

All Veg When Least Expected - Edit
I just came for coffee and saw the happy cow sticker. So then I looked at menu. How pleasantly unexpected.
Read moreI ordered the Mother Fakin' BLT. It had tempeh bacon and avocado on it (9.50). The ciabatta was a little thick for me but overall the flavor was great. I got chili as a side (2.00 upcharge instead of pasta salad) and loved the bean flavor to dip the bread in. I didn't see any vegan dessert but there might have been something. I already got some dessert at a vegan cafe the night before.
Service was great and fast. Coffee is self-serve. It was 2.75 for a large 16 oz.
I will definitely look up again when I'm passing through.
Pros: all veg, local spot, can do work here

highly recommend - Edit
Vegan/vegetarian gem in West Virginia. The food and cafe drinks are delicious. The prices aren't too bad and there are plenty of veg options. It is such a diamond in the rough since there are so few restaurants in WV that prioritize plant based diets.

Splendiferous Place - Edit
The Wild Bean has become my breakfast home away from home. The owners and staff are welcoming and accommodating. Food is prepared with care. If you do not see something on the menu that you want, just ask. If they can, they will prepare your request. It is clear they love serving those who want interesting vegetarian meals. For those who are lactose intolerant, they use soy milk. I must limit fats and dairy. Thus the Wild Bean is a haven of culinary delight for me.
