Meh, it’s ok - Edit
I went in with family after calling to confirm they had vegan options. I’m not a fan or mushrooms, so I tried the 1/2 Caprese with vegan cheese & mayo and a side salad with a glass of house wine. The meal was big, I didn’t expect chips so I ended up taking the salad home.
Read moreThe chips were good and the salad was fine. The sandwich was ok, but really nothing special…just vegan cheese, tomato and mayo on sourdough bread.
Unfortunately vegan cheese really only melts well if it is cooked on a lower heat for a longer period of time, and if you’re not vegan you’re not in the know.
Pros: Cute establishment & good service w/heated patio, Vegan grilled cheese say what?!?, Good pour on the wine

The welcome sign says it all. The Tree Hugger is almost too savory. Absolutely devoured it.

Vegan Sandwich Spot - Edit
This little spot is a hidden jewel with a few vegan sandwiches which I appreciate since it’s hard to find a vegan sandwich restaurant in Topeka KS. I also appreciate the fact the cheese was nice and melted on my sandwich which is hard to find as a vegan. This spot stays open until 10pm and that’s nice because it’s great to get a late night snack

This is a nice bar/restaurant that has grilled cheeses of all sorts, many that can be veganized. I had the skinny mini which had vegan cheese and a variety of veggies. Nothing really skinny about it as it came with a boatload of kettle chips… super tasty tho. Tons of beer options as well. Probably not alot of healthy choices but a great place for the occasional splurge.
