Solid vegan diner food - Edit
This place is really good! Some of the menu items contain more grease than actual flavor, but their good dishes more than make up for it. I tend to like their fun Denny’s breakfast copycats, crunch wraps, and sweet breakfasts. I think Wayward should be designated an official Seattle vegan landmark at this point.

Would definitely return - Edit
I wanted to try everything on the menu and regretted that I couldn't Their breakfast items were definitely the best. Will return when they don't have a line out the door - a testament to how good the food is.

Breakfast all day - Edit
Great cafe style vegan good. Don’t go expecting tons of clean, healthy options, but rather vegan options of home style cafe favorites.

Cinnamon Rolls on the weekends - Edit
Pretty good. Cinnamon rolls were my favorite thing we ordered. Everything else was alright, but not amazing. The French toast had a weird density to it.

100% bomb ass vegan cafe - Edit
I love this place. It was so much better than I thought it would be. I’m visiting & my friends mentioned it because they know I’m vegan. I went with 7 non vegans and all of them seemed stoked about their food. Every single thing ordered looked great & better than the happy cow pictures. I got an unhealthy and freaking beautiful breakfast club and it was everything I could have dreamed of & more. If you’re in the area, even if you aren’t, go to this place. It’s worth whatever detours you need to make. I’ll be back for sure.

I love this place, especially for breakfast. Their cinnamon rolls (weekend only) are among the best I've ever had. Staff are friendly and quick. Very kid/family-friendly, too!

If I could live here, I would! - Edit
After I went vegan, diner food was something I really missed. Luckily, I discovered wayward through a friend a few years ago and it’s become mine and my husband’s favorite place! Wayward has a HUGE menu that gets revamped with new and exciting options about once a year, and everything is delicious. You get a massive amount of food for a great price! My favorites are the waffle with berry compote and whipped cream, the very veggie omelette w hash browns, the breakfast club...honestly I can’t list them all, because it’s so hard to choose. My husband and I are in Seattle weekly, and eat at Wayward 99% of the time.

Amazing - Edit
My family planned a trip to Seattle specifically to eat here, and it did not disappoint! I loved the staff and atmosphere. If you are looking for vegan health food, this probably isn’t the place for you 😂 Comfort food, and classic favorites with no animals harmed makes this place a dream come true.

Holy Cheat Day, Batman! - Edit
This is not the healthiest of vegan options, but so worth every glorious flavour-filled calorie.
Read moreAfter reading about their fried chik'n, I made a pilgrimage out here and ordered the Freebird (which was as excellent as promised) and a "side" of hasbrowns.
The hashbrowns are a meal of their own, stuffed with cheddar, sour cream, and topped with bacon and scallions.
This place is worth multiple visits to sample from its enormous menu.
Pros: All vegan, with a huge comfort menu
Cons: Loud

New to my global top ten list! - Edit
I have a tradition of traveling through Seattle once each year to visit family north of the city. I always stop in town en route, to have breakfast or lunch with an old friend. I'm a longtime vegan and my friend is an omnivore; we try a different vegan or veg-friendly place each year. This was the first time we tried Wayward Vegan Cafe, and now that I've been there, I can't believe we waited so long! This was definitely the best of my Seattle vegan dining experiences so far, and one of the best anywhere in the world! I had the Ex Benedict and my friend had the Migas. Both were delicious, filling and beautifully presented. Everything on the menu looked great -- including the cocktails (which I had to skip since it was 9 am and I had a drive ahead of me). The service was great and the environment open and inviting. They had ample parking in back, too. I'm already looking forward to returning next year!

Best and Biggest plates! - Edit
Visiting from out of town we couldn't wait to try Wayward after insta-stalking them. Oh my god it blew away our expectations! I wish we could go back to try everything, it was so hard to chose one item. We went for breakfast/brunch on a weekday and it wasn't too crowded. Unlimited refills of coffee which is a brunch essential. The portions were SO big. I had my leftovers for lunch so for the slightly expensive price one plate served as two meals for me. For visiting it was in a random location, we traveled away from anything else we were planning to go there. But worth it!

Try their vegan eggs benedict - Edit
When I first moved to the area. I gave this place a try and couldn't believe how good their vegan eggs Benedict was. I kept coming to this place once a week for 3 months just for this dish. If you do order this dish ask for the stuffed hashbrowns.
