Excellent soup - Edit
Very busy and popular cafe, best to reserve a table if you know when you're going to be there, although we didn't have to wait long, and were looking at the bookshop when a table became free.
Read moreHad the soup & sourdough bread - my companian said it the the best soup she'd ever had! She also had it with a sandwich, which was also the best sandwich she'd ever had! I had the Victoria sponge cake as pudding.
Friendly helpful staff, very nice setting, relaxed, seating outside also available.
Pros: Wonderful flavours, Friendly and relaxed
Cons: Also serves meat & fish

Great little cafe - Edit
Soup of the day was a lovely vegan sweet potato soup at a great price (£6). Staff friendly and accommodating. Dessert options as well, had a nice chocolate biscoff cake but the soup was definitely the highlight!

Lovely place for lunch. - Edit
All soups were vegan although they had just ran out of the one I wanted.
Read moreLots of vegan sandwiches which aren't the usual hummus and falafel.
Had the roasted vegetable sandwich which was tasty and well filled.
No vegan cakes on display but when I asked they did have a coffee and walnut and victoria sponge.
I tried the sponge which was very good.

Selection of vegan milks and a good quality sandwich option. Specials included two vegan soups and a meal that sounded delicious! Actually put thought into the vegan options and it was delicious!

Really good - Edit
They always have a vegan special and have cakes as well, at least 2 options. Always had a good meal here. Very busy place though so booking in advance is better to make sure you get a table.

Nice place in a busy little village - Edit
Visited here after seeing it on happy cow and am holidaying nearby.
Read moreReally limited menu just now, one soup and 3 sandwiches - one sandwich is vegan. Hummus, roast vegetables and mixed leaf either as a sandwich or a salad. Sandwich was okay, the bread was lovely but the filling was pretty bland, could’ve done with a little kick of something.
The soup of the day was roast tomato and pepper and was vegan, that was delicious!
The sandwiches are £5.95 each, soup was £4.95.
Gets pretty busy, deffo book a table if you can - think they had cakes but never looked
Pros: Nice area for lunch , Good to have a vegan option
Cons: Expensive , Not much choice, A little bland

Lovely little cafe - Edit
Had the vegan carrot cake and roasted vegetable and hummus sandwich - both were delicious. There was also a vegan lemon cake and vegan soup on the menu when I visited, and a variety of plant milks were available. Would definitely recommend if you are in Aberfeldy, and beneath a great bookshop. Gluten free options too.

It's a start - Edit
This cafe is in the lower ground floor of a lovely book shop, with seating both indoors and outdoors. Dogs are allowed at outdoor tables. Both on the website and the board in the cafe advertise vegan options. However, this was somewhat limited for savoury food on our visit, mainly because both the soups available that day happened to contain either meat or honey. This meant none of the specials were vegan-friendly, leaving only the hummus roll from the menu, which is a pretty bland and disappointing choice! The server mentioned that one of the chefs is vegan, but it sounds like the vegan options on any given day can be hit-and-miss. However, there were two different vegan cakes available, which we tried and they were pretty good - very sweet. There were also three different options of plant milks for hot drinks: soya, almond and oat.
