Wonderful place! - Edit
It filled me with joy knowing nothing on the menu was off limits - the only difficulty was which magnificent offering to choose. I went for the mac and cheese with truffle, the mister had peanut curry. Both dishes were full of flavour and tasted awesome. The team are welcoming & friendly, service was brill and the food blew me away. Herne Bay is so lucky to have this amazing place 🌻💚

The best we've found in this area. - Edit
We have been travelling the area in our campervan and wanted breakfast before returning home. This place is a real gem. Great choices, I loved how passionate the owners are, I'm just sorry we won't be around for their fine dining evening though it is almost worth the 4 hour travelling time 😀

Delicious food! So many beautiful looking and sound dishes to choose from. Lots of gluten free options, especially for sweet baked treats! Dine in is lovely and we took sweet treats honestly for later. So good! The staff were lovely! Can’t wait to visit again!

Great food and friendly staff - Edit
I think it was one of the owners who served us, she was very friendly indeed. I had the bubble and squeak with homemade smoky beans and greens, and my friend had the vegan fish finger sandwich, both meals were lovely. The place is small, but very nice indeed and has a good atmosphere.

Vegan cafe in the heart of Herne Bay - Edit
Small homely and popular restaurant in the heart of Herne Bay. The staff were very friendly and helpful with the menu.
Read moreGood variety of food - but on several boards (rather than on a paper menu), which depending on where you sit makes
it challenging to read.
Food was good - we had a burger, a mushroom
wrap and a bowl. Everyone enjoyed their food. There was a range of cakes and desserts- we chose the lemon meringue pie which was excellent, quite tart and lemony. It was the first one they ever made!
Pros: Excellent lemon meringue pie

I love the Wallflower Cafe! They have a great menu full of vegan versions of British favourites. You can get a full English breakfast, sandwiches, wraps, soups, curries and salads. They have a variety of baked goods, both sweet and savoury, and the staff are just lovely. Well worth a visit!

Friendly & fantastic - Edit
Stopped in for lunch. Great selection of coffees, teas, cakes, main meals -it was hard to choose. We opted for a Rose Chai & turmeric latte- both of which were delicious. For mains we had bubble & squeak with greens & beans, and an Aubergine & chorizo stew- both were very flavoursome, tasty and nicely presented. It’s a small place with about 6 tables, a very friendly atmosphere with helpful staff. We had a sausage roll to take away (again delicious). They also offered to refill our water bottle too which was really appreciated

So happy to have this little gem as my local cafe. Good menu choice of savoury meals plus cakes. For me also a great choice of GF options. Always happy to introduce my non vegan friends to the cafe. It is tucked away so misses out on passing trade

Nice find - Edit
We came here for lunch after seeing the information on Happycow. It’s a relatively small cafe with about five tables but luckily there was one empty. There are plenty of choices and we had a hard time deciding. We ended up ordering the bubble & squeak and The Wallflower Rarebit, which came with some chips and salad garnish. We ordered a couple milkshakes too - I ended up with a smoothie which was probably better nutrition wise. Anyways, we would come here again if we had more time - the cakes looked good too. It’s handy to have the car park right next to it - but beware, Google maps will try to take you around to the high street where you might miss it as there’s an antique shop and beautician on the high street while the café is tucked at the back through a little alleyway.
