No masks(!)
April 2021 and only 1 restaurant worker wearing a mask. NO other staff wearing masks, including both of our waiters:( They told us that the owner has decided that masks are optional for staff and customers. It was shocking to be served by waitstaff without any masking. Great food but this is flagrant public health violation. I can’t fathom why they have made this poor decision. (Just saw the many reviews on Yelp regarding their refusal to require masks for their employees, and their political stance against masks and social distancing, but these reviews have been ‘buried’ under the ‘not recommended’ reviews section. So disappointing. Would not have gone if I’d known.)
Bland Food & Anti Vax
I wish I could blame lack of taste on catching Covid from an establishment that never enforced mask wearing and has thrown anti vax rallies where the owner said mask mandates are “like the modern day civil war”. No joke. On top of that the burrito I got before I learned all this was bland and overpriced.

Pros: Lack of regard for human life, Great place to catch Covid
Cons: Overpriced , Bland , Disappointing
Smiling faces
This restaurant is great and I recommend it to everyone. It was so nice to walk in and see happy, smiling faces from the staff. The food is great and the service was friendly and prompt. I give this place a lot of credit and respect for standing for something that everyone is so against right now: medical freedom and choice. They are not anti anything, they just don’t want to be forced or to force anyone to do something they don’t want to do. I can’t wait to come back to this place to try more of their tasty food.
Pros: Outside seating which is pet friendly , So many food choices , Courage to stand up for what is right
So flavorful!
We are from the Japanese menu and it was so good! Everything was fresh and flavorful. I was disappointed to see the anti mask rally sponsored by the restaurant out front the day we dined but nevertheless the food was outstanding and I'll be back to try the Mexican dishes!

In your face anti-vax messaging
The food is pretty good, but the owners are pretty vocal about their politics around vaccines, and I find it off-putting. They have shirts and signs about discrimination against anti-vaxers. Out of all of the problems in the world, that's the one they're going with? I'd rather eat somewhere else.
Pros: Food is pretty good
Cons: Anti-vax messaging
If I could give one star, I would.
Business is known for hosting anti-mask, and anti-vaccine rallies during the 2020 pandemic. Consequently, these rallies were also host to other far-right factions and entities.
Until there's a complete 180, I would not support this business
