Great food and friendly service - Edit
We only tried the village inn as we seen it on this app, it was a lovely village pub that you might not expect vegan options in, firstly the owner was lovely very friendly and helpful and there was a few vegan options including a starter and desserts. I had the veggie burger (vegan) and it was lovely the chips and onion rings were amazing. I would definitely go back if l was in the area again. This app is a life saver when out and about

A Wonderful Place (visited 2/12/22) - Edit
This was our third visit to The Village Inn, and it’s a firm family favourite, having stumbled across it on a visit to Fairlie in April 2022.
Read moreThe food is really excellent. We had a Vegan curry on our first visit (specials board depending), and the Vegan burger on our last two stops, which is handcrafted and portions aplenty. Their apple pie (with vegan ice cream!) for is a triumph.
The staff couldn’t be more helpful in explaining the menu, and they even had soy milk for coffees too!
The restaurant area is really spacious and relaxing, with lovey maritime decor and natural lighting.
We highly recommend.
Pros: Excellent vegan food , Wonderful staff , A relaxing and spacious place
Cons: That we don’t live closer by!

Very nice pub in the lovely village of Fairlie, North Ayrshire.
Read moreThis is one of my favourite places to eat, particularly when the weather is good so we can eat outside.
The vegan burger comes generously accompanied with chips and salad, and I recommend the Jaffa Cake desert which can be accompanied with vegan ice-cream.
Service is friendly and helpful, and prices are reasonable.
Just across the road is a very peaceful and picturesque beach.
Pros: Vegan choices for all courses, Dog Friendly, Good size portions and reasonable prices
