Serves meat, vegan options available. Inside The View Hotel, this is one of 2 restaurants within 25 miles of Monument Valley. Once in the park, this restaurant is the only choice, as the pre-made food is not vegetarian. Serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Navajo Taco, beans and chili are vegan suitable. There is also a salad bar, and at times, a vegetable soup. Beverages are non-alcoholic. When making reservation at the hotel or when passing through, call and ask to speak to the kitchen with requests. Removed March 2023: Limited vegan options.

This location is NOT vegan friendly - Edit
The staff is not educated about vegan options - suggesting twice I get a quesadilla with cheese. Then they suggested the Navajo taco which sounded great but taking out the meat and cheese leaves lettuce onion tomato for $23. The only option was a salad without any of their toppings, which I needed to explain what to remove. Thankfully the kitchen staff added some more veggies to make up for the $18 cost. The salad bar mentioned in previous posts is no longer offered.

Breakfast has some accidentally vegan options- oatmeal, fruit and bagels, so I was happy for that.
I honestly wanted to love and support the location. The staff was nice and checked back on us a few times and only ranked it based on meeting the needs of a plant based perspective. It is more of a basic traditional restaurant.

Vegan yes, tasty no, - Edit
Yeah they do vegan food, but it’s not tasty, it’s bland, and oily and soupy- get the salad bar, it’s cheap and you can do all you can eat. There really is no other choice here, which is fine, the service is hit and miss - some were excellent, some were not interested. Breakfast is all bread and sugar.

Vegan Navajo Taco! - Edit
This place is amazing! They can make the Navajo Taco vegan & it’s delicious!! The salsa was great & ordered some guacamole too! The meal also came with the salad bar! The views are spectacular as the name suggests! I was so happy to find vegan options in Monument Valley! Highly recommend!

Doable for vegans - Edit
Vegans at the View Restaurant can have the Navajo tacos, which are fine and quite substantial, and which include one pass at the salad and soup bar. Dessert comes with the meal, and is a take out of non-vegan pastries. Note that dinner after about 7 PM is reserved for hotel and cabin guests only. We were happy to find anything vegan in the neighborhood.

Vegan Options Far From Home - Edit
My girls and I visited Monument Valley for 2 days. We rented a cabin at The View Hotel which had a kitchen (bring your own pans and dishes), but we found some vegan options at the restaurant at The View Hotel as well. We ate the Navajo Taco, beans and also the salad bar. They also have vegan soup sometimes and even made us a special grilled veggie dish. If you call ahead, they will try to accommodate. Very friendly staff, moderate prices and nice that they have some options there for vegans, vegetarians will find even more available. The Navajo Tacos are yummy!
