Not actually vegan friendly - Edit
Not worth the trip for vegans. They have nothing on the menu that’s already vegan, only things that can be made vegan if you leave off half the ingredients. They also still upcharge for avocado, etc, even after you remove all the dairy. Staff seemed annoyed and was not willing to work with us much on our order. Also, it didn’t taste very good.

Needs Improvment - Edit
This is what I call a “half-assed” vegan options spot. Sure they had vegan options but they don’t make vegan dishes - just removed the non-vegan things from the dishes so you are left with lettuce, bell peppers and 2 bites amount of avocado in the example of the vegan cilantro salad I had. Come on! I know so many great Mexican rest.s that have great vegan meals, it should be so easy at a Mexican spot to offer great vegan options, at least can I get half an avocado on the salad, I mean chopt’d and evergreens you get more and pay less for great vegan salads and these are quick lunch spots! I wouldn’t ever come here again.

Let’s TACObout how great this place is... - Edit
The staff was very knowledgeable and considerate when I was ordering. My waitress even had a tiny card that had the vegan and gluten free options to make sure. I got the Vegetarian Estricto (without the gouda) with a side of VERY delicious beans and a veggie skewer! P.S. it was a super hip place with beautiful artwork around.

Tasty food! - Edit
Cool atmosphere, awesome art inside and nice outdoor area with a fountain. Veggie ceviche and chips and guac make for good vegan appetizer options. I usually get the vegetarian estricto veganized, portobello taco deliciousness, just have them remove the gouda. You get 2 tacos and 2 sides. They label a few things vegan on the menu and the staff is generally pretty knowledgeable. Their parking lot is tiny, but there are parking areas nearby.
