Vegan Fish & Chips (and more) - Edit
Staying nearby at Warwick Uni and looked on Happycow for vegan options and Veggie Corner came up. They have an extensive menu with pizzas and burgers, but the main highlight was the vegan fish and chips. The fish was very similar to Unity Diner, but for about half the price. Very high quality. Chips were chippy style. There are even a few seats in the window for a quick bite. Staff very polite.

Vegan Options - Edit
Fish sandwich was good. The cheesy chips would be better if cheese was melted. The cheese pizza was good with a spicy red sauce.

Best vegan takeaway - Edit
Veggie Corner is by far the BEST vegan takeaway! My favourite items are battered sausage, southern fried "chicken" wrap and chip batch (aka chip butty or chips in a bread roll - basically carb heaven!). They also do lots of other vegan goodies, like tofish, nuggets, pies, pizza, kebabs, burgers, cheesy chips, curry sauce, gravy and have gluten free options too.

bit disappointing - Edit
they’ve changed a few things recently...and not for the better i’m afraid. the battered sausages now taste like linda m’s and the fish is now very fishy! pizza seems to have changed as well...kebabs and chips are still nice 👍

Great value. Great food - Edit
We had the Vegan Fish, Lamb Kebab, SF Chick’n, Chips, and Vegan Chick’n Drumsticks.
Read moreIn my opinion the Vegan Fish which appeared to be Tofish was excellent. I highly recommend to any vegan/vegetarian who misses chip shop fish, also to any non vegan/veggie that wants to cut down on their animal intake.
The SFC and Lamb was also excellent. It has a great flavour and easily beat the likes of the new vegan KFC burger. The vegan lamb was a lot closer to a shawarma than a Döner kebab which is perfectly fine.
The chips were your standard Chip Shop chips.
The vegan Drumsticks were not the best unfortunately. I was not a fan of the flavour or texture. They had a slightly gummy texture. They were more of a Chick’n nugget than a drumstick.
I would recommend this place to anyone looking for that greasy fish and chip shop style food, that most of are guilty of enjoying!
Pros: Lots of vegan options , Vegan options clearly labelled , Great value, friendly staff
Cons: Not fully vegan, Swapping for Vegan cheese is quite expensive

Tasty kebabs, fish and chips - Edit
Fish and chip shop that serve lovely kebabs, always have the mixed kebab, and order battered sausage which is amazing, had a pizza there before which was okay. But I don’t go there for pizza😉The battered fish substitute is one of the best I’ve had before.

Great cheap vegan junk food! - Edit
My title sums it up really. Amazingly good value tasty junk food. My only criticism is why not go fully vegan? I had the vegan meat feast and my friend the vegan cheesy chips and they were lovely so why even offer cow’s cheese.

Lots of choice with the vegan options clearly labelled. Delicious food at a good price. I’d recommend calling ahead to place your order to save waiting on arrival as most of the items are made fresh to order. I will definitely go again.

Great - struggle to fault it - Edit
Great food, can't fault it. The service is very fast and the food very tasty. I keep meaning to try more of the menu but the 'fish' and chips is too good!
Read moreOnly gripe is it's £2 extra for vegan cheese, I dislike having to pay extra.
Otherwise very happy! I like comparing the number of people in here vs the chip shop next door, there are always more in the Veggie Corner (I know it's owned by the same people but still!)
Pros: good food, reasonable prices
Cons: it is not located closer to my house, paying extra for vegan cheeese

ACTUAL HEAVEN - Edit
i live about a 5min walk away and it takes all of my self control not for me not to visit there every single day.
Read morea genuine blessing for all of coventry, the veggie corner caters to all your proper vegan/vegetarian junk food needs. everything you could possibly want to eat, all in one place and super cheap.
i especially recommend the southern fried chicken kebab, BATTERED SAUSAGES (i never even liked sausages but these are perfect), vgn cheesy chips and faux chicken nuggets (which to me taste exactly like mcd's used to).
staff is lovely and whatever you order takes a maximum of 10 mins. gr8 opening hours unless you wanna go there for lunch (don't, they will be closed).
the only thing i'd advise against are the vegan "scallops", which seem to be just a batter potato mush, which i wasn't a fan of. everything else is a solid 10/10
Pros: don't even get me started, this place is perfect
Cons: ok aside from the "scallops"

Most amazing place on earth - Edit
I currently write this review from Ubud in Bali as it's late and just before bedtime and I'm hungry, and whenever I am hungry all I think about is how much I would love to be near The Veggie Corner! It's in my hometown and I go here quite often, tending to get the same thing - southern fried "chicken" and "lamb" kebab with chips. I've also had the vegan fish and the hot dog. The vegan fish is amazing albeit a little pricey for the price and the vegan hot dog was quite small, so you're best off sticking to the kebabs (not tried the pizzas). This is by far my favourite vegan place in the world I have eaten at many amazing vegan places in south east Asia but for taste, price and quantity this is the best and even better that it's on my doorstep 👌🏽
