This place is a must! Everything is fresh and made with love. Very tasty! My friend and I were there when they had sold out of most things, but they quickly put together a great dinner for us. So happy their business is doing great!

Great! For real get the "Pork" belly - Edit
This place was great! We got there kind of close to closing so there were only a couple of items to choose from, but they were awesome. The owner guy made us 2 plates of what he had left and gave us pho broth to sip on! The mixed plate came with tofu patties, vegan pork belly, and a kind of beef slice things with rice! And everything was tasty! They also sell sauces like vegan fish sauce and hot sauce! It was perfect and hit the spot!

Excellent - Edit
I haven’t been in person yet but I have had takeout brought in by folks at my work and everything I’ve tried so far has been delicious. I honestly don’t know how they do it, but they clearly spend a lot of time preparing all of their dishes to make them so flavorful. The texture of all the meat substitutes is on point. The char siu is fantastic, and the tofu “egg” patties are crispy and delicious. The pork belly is wild. Prices are very reasonable and portions are large. Awesome place to have in Hilo.

Best vegan food on Big Island - Edit
Go here. You won’t regret it. Amazing selection of vegan foods, great wuhuarou (braised pork belly), lots of fishy cutlets, incredible fried rice and super tasty iced coffee. Also, the price is super reasonable, on the low end, for vegan food, and the owner is incredibly friendly. He shared some of his techniques, I’ll be trying them out at home. Only downside is that it’s not open for dinner, but you can’t have everything.

Vietnamese-Vegan-Approved - Edit
I've been eating Vietnamese food since I started eating solid food, so y'all know this review is legit. This was 100% the best vegan pho I've had in the States, and I've tried probably 15 by this point. I would probably fly back to Hilo just to try out the rest of this menu. Friendly staff and amazing food. Lots of options and easy to do gluten-free if you need.

Vietnamese vegan heaven - Edit
How did I not discover this place until right before I was moving off island!?? That tragedy aside, this place is a hidden gem for anyone who loves fresh delicious Vietnamese food. It’s run by a super kind couple and everything they make tastes delicious and is, of course, vegan. It’s affordable and fast service so it’s super convenient to pick up during a lunch break. Only wish it was open for dinner service too. So grateful for more 100% vegan places on the island. I’ve loved the spring rolls, assorted lunch plate, and pumpkin curry. Will be back when I visit the island!

Very nice couple who talked us through the options. We weren’t that hungry so actually got a lunch plate to share between 3 people. We got the lemongrass fried rice, pork belly (not that convincing but amusing) and the veggies vermicelli.

TEN STARS - Edit
I’ve eaten in a few dozen vegan Asian restaurants around the world, and I think this might be my favorite one yet. OMG….the flavors were amazing and the service was outstanding! I’m only in Hilo for 2 days on a business trip. I saw this place in the app and stopped on my way to the hotel. So glad I did. If I didn’t already have meal plans for tomorrow, I’d be back here! #Veganuary

Delicious Surprise - Edit
The family and I went here for lunch and we’re so pleased. The food was so good and lot of choices. We all had a variation on the daily combo plate. The pumpkin quinoa and fried rice were very good. The tofu egg fritters were nice and crunchy, the beef and onion was very flavorful but my favorite was the fake pork belly. It was sweet and savory, crispy and chewy. The vegetable bao and spring rolls also very good. The portions were big and the staff were so so nice and friendly. Ask for iced Vietnamese coffee also, didn’t see it on the menu but was heavenly.

Favorite place to eat - Edit
I am so happy this restaurant exists and especially in Hilo??! We are blessed to have this Vietnamese gem in our town. It’s delicious and very unique! There are options with lots of vegetables and then you have your fried vegan meat options too. Anyone could find something to eat here. It’s mostly a take away restaurant, but I had a very lovely experience dining in. The owner is incredibly friendly and answers all of your questions.

Wow what a find! Home made seitan and other fake meats. Only $10 for three items from the buffet tray. Spring rolls amazing. Owner is very attentive. Very good food but might be on the salty side. No mattresses in sight. Back room has additional seating and items for sale.

I could not adore this place anymore. - Edit
First and foremost, this restaurant is much more spacious than it looks from the outside. The owner, who is very knowledgeable on vegan cooking, healthy ingredients, and health itself, could not be more kind, compassionate, and personable. They have a small menu, which includes a two or three item lunch, and then a vegan Bahn mI and a couple of other dishes. I believe he rotates the offerings. I had what he called a kind of “fatty pork “dish. It takes him several days to prepare it. Trust me, there is no pork or any real trans fatty ingredients involved. He painstakingly combines ingredients over several days to make this layered, vegan meat. It’s beyond explanation. You have to taste it to believe it. And anyone who has stopped eating meat and is craving that kind of unctuous, fatty mouth feel will be so satisfied. We had a delicious rice with quinoa and pumpkin in it, a mixed vegetable serving, and another other vegan meat. They served us (since we ate inside) water that they have purified in such a way it feels like velvet in your mouth. The restaurant is well spaced, and well ventilated, for anyone concerned about eating inside a restaurant because we’re still in a pandemic. We are crazy careful, because of health concerns, and we didn’t feel compromised at all. Plus, A HUGE bonus, the owner has built an incredibly gorgeous Buddhist temple behind the restaurant. Myself, being a Buddhist practitioner, was honored for him to show it to me. It is a peaceful, nurturing, space that anyone, whether Buddhist or not, can benefit from. Just go there, have a meal, meditate in the temple and please leave a contribution. His collection of Buddhist statues and other Buddhist decorations is as comprehensive as any bigger Buddhist temple. My only issue is that I wish we had discovered it sooner. Please support this remarkable restaurant.

Loved this spot! It was a heated tray serving setting but oh so good! As far as I understand the menu rotates and I have read that the meatballs are a must but weren’t on for the day. Really flavorful rice and the tofu “egg” was absolutely amazing!

We got there late and missed the buffet. We had tuna sandwiches. They were so tasty but I was a little creeped out by how real they tasted. Hoping we can squeeze in the hot bar tomorrow.
