Weekly Saturday farmers' market. Around 1/4 of the stalls are selling vegan products, including preserves, cakes, soy, cleaning products, savory pies, vegan kebabs. All products produced in Scotland. Open Sat 10:00-17:00.

Came for the vanilla slice, left with so much more - Edit
I finally got my vanilla slice after almost 2 years since the last one. Missy's no longer sells it in their shop, but they have it here at the market. I got to by my Christmas roast here as well. The other stalls were pretty good too.

Brilliant selection - Edit
We try to get here every first Saturday of the month. There's so many great stalls it's always tough to choose!
Read moreThere are some non-vegan stalls to ignore, but mainstays like Grumpy Foods are always good, and there's usually a new vegan stall to try too :D

Pretty decent selection of stalls - Edit
I'd heard about the vegan quarter at Leith market but don't live that close. I was in the area and so took the opportunity to check it out and there was a reasonably good choice. I opted for Grumpy who did me a quiche type thing with salad. Portions were big and it was delicious. Hard to choose as some other stalls looked pretty good too. Hopefully I'll get back there.

Leith Market is on every saturday but on the first saturday of the month its Vegan quarter.
Read moreAt least 25% of the stalls are vegan, selling goods to take home and a change to get lunch from a great selection of stalls.
A must if you are in the central belt.
Pros: selection, people, staff
Cons: scottish weather, but we can't change that.
