the food was good and I loved the Lavender and Spirulina drink 😍 Nothing to complain apart from the prices compared to other places in Dahab. The restaurant is small, modern furnished and clean. The service was fast and friendly.

Incredible spot! Great atmosphere, fresh food, good staff and fantastic service. The price is quite high but i guess you pay for the quality. I would go there as a nice treat, they also sell vegan products to take home (tofu,mayo, yoghurt etc.)

If you have a restaurant in a place as touristy as dahab, talking basic English to help out a customer with basic questions about delivery service isn’t to much to ask. Having to wait an hour for food when you’re the only one in the business realistically slow. This review isn’t a bad one as I feel like I didn’t have a bad experience. It’s honest and informative for people to know to not be in a hurry when going here. Criticism isn’t a bad thing.

Walking distance from The Lighthouse boardwalk, the restaurant is easy to find and you might be greeted by the dogs at the entrance (or completely ignore you) which gives it a homey vibe that is welcoming. The space is large, not only acommodating groups but also if you're dining alone, you'll never feel crammed. The relaxed vibe of the restaurant allows you to have a conversation, might be conducive to work from there as well although, I didnt see anybody using their laptops.
THE BEST
The presentation of the food is exquisite as you can see in the pictures and the flavor do match. The Texan BBQ burger is delicious but the texture of the pattie is not right, breaks very easily and way softer than it should be. The cheesecake and chocolate truffles are the absolute winners, right amount of sweet and perfect texture. The cookies are a take it or leave it and so the green smoothie, overall however, they know how to make yummy desserts.
THE WORST
If you're eating alone, even if you're not going to eat it all at once, is best you order everything together. When they take your order, is very transactional, they don't make any effort in being welcoming or friendly. On my first visit, although I order the burger and beverage together, they delivered the burger relatively fast but it was seating on my table for 30 minutes or more, I had to ask twice for the smoothie and by the time they finally delivered it the burger was already cold, by then I wasn't going to waste time asking them to reheat it so that was that.... I wanted to try the desserts so I had to stand up and ask the people over the counter for it myself, as my waitress never returned the table. On my second visit, I decided to eat outside but the flies were a big annoyance. Like last time, once the server/waiter deliver the food they completely forget about your table so if you want something else you have to ask yourself for it at the counter. The only reason why I didn't rate the restaurant 3 stars is because they got the flavor of the food right, the flavors are on point. I'm certain if they get the ambience right (proper lounge music and no dissonant sounds) and train their staff into proper customer attention and service this could be a great place to frequently hangout.

They have a great, healthy and creative selection of vegan dishes. I ate there twice and enjoyed it a lot , not just the food but also their lovely interior. The place seems really clean and I had no problems after eating, I even had fruit and ice cubes. I would definitely rate that place as a safe restaurant that won’t give you food poisoning, unlike many other places in Egypt 😅 maybe some other comments from here caught their sickness somewhere else, I really can’t imagine it being from there, it’s the cleanest restaurant I’ve seen in Dahab so far.

Read moreI love the choc chip pancakes, matcha and tempeh chicken burger but they offer a variety of burgers (Beyond meat! and real vegan cheese!) smoothie bowls and hearty salads/Buddha bowls.
They also sell cakes and house made mayo, coconut yoghurt, tofu, tempeh, plant based milk, ricotta and ‘notella’.
The only thing I will say is they charge western prices and the food can be inconsistent at times.
Pros: Completely vegan , Incredible food , Very aesthetic restaurant
Cons: Expensive , Inconsistent food quality (at times)

I got violently ill from eating here. Gave them another chance. Happened Twice. Took a peek in the kitchen. Was shocked at how filthy and disgusting it was. Go up those back steps and take a peek to the left before risking your health and safety. The toilets were cleaner.

A Vegan Oasis in Dahab - Edit
This place is really unique in Sinai, with a variety of dishes you won't find anywhere else. It's particularly refreshing if you've been spending some time in Sinai and can't stand to look at another falafel or rice with veggies! The place is small but pretty and the atmosphere is pleasant. There are also some cats hanging around (they feed them and take care of them) - always a plus!
Read moreNow, about the food... everything I've tried was okay, but not much more than that. It feels like they're trying to stuff each dish with a long list of "superfood" ingredients but not really considering the flavor.
The burgers are probably the best choice on the menu. When I ordered the chick'n and waffles, on the other hand, the waffles were really hard (could barely saw through them with a knife) and it just felt like there were too many ingredients that didn't work well together. The grilled cheese was really oily and not very good. For dessert, once there were okayish cupcakes or something but on a different occasion there was only raw matcha cheesecake which was not appealing or tasty (come on folks, you're the only vegan place in Dahab, let us have a decadent dessert or two! BRING ON THE GLUTEN!!!). One time I went for breakfast and ordered the waffles with coconut cream and those were actually divine.
Also, the juices and smoothies are really nice.
Overall, I'm really glad this place exists, I'll probably go again, and I hope they continue to improve their menu.

Tasty and beautifully-presented food. The waffles and tempeh chikn was my favorite dish. The prices are high but the food is freshly prepared and different to the majority of restaurants around. We found the coffee/tea specialty drinks too pricey at about $6 each. At the time we were there, the Beyond burger was not available.

The second time, we were the only ones there and the server was on his phone and seemingly didn't feel like coming over to us. We approached him to let him know we'd like to see the menu and he simply pointed inside towards the menu and continued playing on his phone! A couple came in after us, also grabbed the menu and sat down, but the server never came so they left. Given service is not a new complaint at this restaurant, you'd think they would work on improving it. It's disappointing because at this price point and quality of food, this could be a really great experience.

We loved our dinner here. It was so hard to choose what to eat because everything is so elaborated and delicious. There are many rich burgers and salads, they even have beyond meat. It's pricey for Dahab but it's European standards and totally worth it. They really do go the extra mile.

1. Quality of the food was very high - which you would expect considering the very high prices they take - especially considering they are in Dahab.

3. Just to give an example - the kitchen closes at 20:00. A few minutes to 20:00 I called the waiter because I wanted to order the strawberry lemonade (50 pounds). He said wait and took a cigarette break. When he came back and I asked to order he told me the kitchen was closed and I couldn't order. We had wanted to order dessert also but didnt dare after that.
4. Another example - a little after 20:00 a group of people came in and they let them in and after they were seated told them the kitchen was closed. After this I heard them and another couple who had been eating in the restaurant when we were there complaining to each other.
But like I said - and to be fair the quality of the food is high - but I would never eat there again.

It's a bit pricy in Egyptian terms but that's fair enough considering the food.
A lovely refreshing surprise in great Dahab city.
If health food and/or vegan food is your thing - don't think twice.

I went to Dahab twice for vacation during the two years I lived in Cairo and this place was a definite highlight. My partner and I could have easily split one meal and been full every time, but we always got one meal each so we could try as many dishes as possible and support a local vegan restaurant. I loved every dish we ever tried, but there is a ramen bowl with fried palm hearts that really shines in my memory - it was called Dragon’s Heart Bowl. My only “complaint” is that they close every day from 6-7pm and it’s not listed anywhere, so that ended up being slightly annoying one day, especially because it’s during prime dinner hours.
