Great small all vegan restaurant

Had the meatballs and tempeh and avocado burger, and two deserts with drinks and all were great! Very very diverse menu, cute location, and (from an Australian perspective) very reasonably priced!

Pros: All vegan!, Very large menu, All reasonably priced

Best Vegan Restaurant

This is our always go-to restaurant, most specially when we have something to celebrate with my partner.

Love all their food and drinks, and also their new cafe - Mylk Cafe.

Pros: Value for money, Delicious and made with love, Super friendly owner

Great place with delicious bowls

Small and cozy vegan restaurant. When we arrived it was full, but we could order from the vegan coffee place next door (mylk) and moved over as soon as there was space. Food took a while (understandably, as it was so full), but was really delicious. Great bowls full of fresh ingredients!

One of my favorite places

Good food. Lovely service. Worth the visit. Hope I can visit again.

The colorful bowls of food give me joy. Although, I prefer their pastas due to personal choice. 💗

Pros: Delicious food, Healthy

Cons: Limited seating

My go-to resto whenever I have guests! 💚

Whenever I have friends or guests coming over, I will bring them to TVD. So far, my fave is quesadilla! 🧀

Pros: plenty of options!!!!, clean ingredients, cute ambience

Cons: Does not accept credit card—my broke self is sad

Clean vegan food

Owners are responsible. They are transparent about the ingredients. They have a nice new CR.

No unnecessary grease or sugar on the food unlike every other restaurant.

Cons: Expensive

Amazing!!!

Been a regular to this lovely place for the last 4 years. Amazing vibes and absolutely phenomenal food. The owners are extremely accommodating and make you feel very welcome. The food is worth the price and fills you up for long and is soul satisfying to say in the least.
Also their raspberry mango strudel is to die for!!
Definetly the single most amazing thing I'm going to miss about Davao once I'm gone. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Pros: Portion Size, Taste , Resemblance to actual meat

Reason I would come to Davao: durian and TVD

I ate here a few years ago when I did my annual durian pilgrimmage trips before the pandemic. Definitely exceeded my expectations of what "vegan food" would taste like. Not only did it look better and more interesting than what I was eating as an omnivore back then, but it actually tasted delicious! I've tried vegan items from other establishments since then, but those tended to taste like "flour"--not appetizing. Since my first visit, TVD became my other reason for visiting Davao aside from my favorite durians. If I'm asked for resto recommendations in Davao, it'll definitely be TVD.

One other reason why I like TVD is even before pandemic, the workers actually wore their mouth spit guards properly over their mouths and not hanging on their chins like most other places.

Pros: Delicious food (doesnt taste like "flour"), Delicious food (not taste like flour), Clean and tidy place

Cons: More than walking distance from bankerohan

real vegan tasty food. (closed to 2021)

owner is a comitted militant vegan for life, not a fake vegan that goes back to eggs and fish FFS... want satisfaction?,, then order bean quesadilla (made using nut cheese), also walnut burger and falafael burger are a sure thing.. many smoothies and juices and deserts.., just go

Pros: lots of options, easy location, quality

Cons: higher cost to other vegan places but no probz, typical filipina slow response to needs, small

Wholesome and Healthy

Cozy, unpretentious, but definitely good eats. If you're vegan (or even non-veg) and looking for something beyond mock meats, this place is for you. Flavorful whole food dishes freshly and thoughtfully prepared. Personal fave is the Cheese Melt Tortilla Chips. 👌🏼

Pros: Everything is vegan and labeled for allergens, Friendly and courteous staff, Decent-sized servings

Cons: Seats get filled fast, might share tables, Limited parking areas

A must-visit when in Davao, Philippines!

Everything they serve is awesome. Worth every peso!

My personal favorites are the tempeh blt sub and unbaked brownies. So good! The staff are so accommodating and friendly, too. They're very well-trained and it's obvious that they value what the cafe is all about, which is promoting and advocating veganism, animal rights and environmentalism!

Thank you, The Vegan Dinosaur!

Vegan Backpacker

Without a doubt the overall healthiest/tastiest western style vegan food in the Philippines.

Loved having jalepenos after months of not. Nachos were yummy, burger was good, and quinoa bowl as well.

Price was definitely not packer friendly, but then again all western/tourist vegan food in the islands were around the same price. Avg. 280peso per meal. Portion is decent, much better than other remote vegan stops in the islands.

Pros: Options, flavors, jalepenos!

Cons: Price for Philippines.

A place to spoil myself

This is a place I would go to spoil myself once in a while. A little out of my budget range but certainly worth coming back to experience the delicious variety of food, clean space and lovely staff.

Its ok

The thing is, after 6-7pm you dont have other vegan choices in davao. If i am really hungry and i want a 1500 kcal dinner same every day, i need to go there and i will have a bill 800p . Aircondition room is cold, i dont like. Cannot sit outside. Food expensive because many stuff, plastic free and air condition. I just go there when i dont have other choices and than i am happy about this vegan restaurant.

Pros: Stuff really frindly and beautiful woman, Food taste good

Cons: Air condition, Expensive for big hungry people

Out of this world!

The Vegan Dinosaur is clearly my favourite restaurant in Davao. The ambience is great and the staff very friendly. Their food is just incredible. There are countless super delicious dishes to choose from. Just for the burgers there are eight different variations and every single one is so uniquely good in its own way that I honestly can't tell which one is the best because that's what they all are.

a little peaceful Oasis in davao

5 star quality food...nice ambiance...caring loving owner and workers.....smash that tasty veg burger asap!
Tacos are filling and i love the kidney and garbanzo beans and guacamoli.....
the new cashew or sunflower seed cheeze is very delicious...i love to add cheeze to the jackfruit sliders...and i love the quesidilla and i add beans to this....also the sun dried tomato pasta is tangy and rich....the fresh pressed juice is unbelievable in taste...next to a newly finished park which is across the one side streeet, beautiful trees and landscaping, great to enjoy and meditate before you go into vegan dinosaur and after for a some walking and stretching...hopefully Sahara will make her place more bigger for larger groups to enjoy food without pieces of dead animals and guts and blood.
