All vegan burger bar - excellent!

It might be out of the actual city center, but it's right where it's supposed to be - in the area of record stores, independent book cafes, second-hand stores, concert venues, vegan-friendly supermarkets etc. Close by Triangeln station.

The bar have only existed for a couple of months so far, and I hope they'll be able to stick around for a while. I (also) got my whiskey marinated soy patty Mushy Mushy-burger to go because I was in a hurry, and it was delicious, but got soggy pretty fast, so the next time I go, I'll make town for a sit-down dinner. I wish that the Danish Astrid & Aporna fast food joint would take after these guys.

They had just about 10 different burgers, and then you choose your patty (apart from the whiskey-marinated soy patty, you can also get a chickpea patty or a portobello burger) and you choose between light or dark bread.

You get fries with your menu, with some kind of white dipping sauce, that tasted slightly like bearnaise. Divine!

Pros: ALL VEGAN!!!, Good selection, Location

Cons: A little bit pricey

Great burgers

We were in Malmo for the day and intended to go to Kao's for lunch, however it was closed on Sundays so we picked the Vegan Bar and after a good walk to find it were glad we did. The burgers are fantastic. There are three types of burger to choose from, then various different toppings all served with chips. Unfortunately they only had menus in Swedish and the guys who were working there only had limited English, however between us we muddled through the options and worked out what was what. I went for the soya based burger (marinated in whisky) and the 'Mushy Mushy' topping, which was different mushrooms, pepper jack Violife, salad and a Jack Daniels BBQ sauce. It was very 'meaty' which I like. As well as soft drinks they served different beers, spirits and wine and seemed to be open late most nights.
It was obviously a very new place and currently they only do burgers, however I imagine there is scope for expanding this in the future. For a quiet Sunday afternoon there was quite a few people coming and going which is a good sign. The place was shiny, clean and comfortable - vegan junk food at it's best.

Pros: Excellent burgers, Friendly, Long opening hours, Clean and comfortable

Cons: Only do burgers, No English menu, Out of the centre
