Cute place and good vegan options - Edit
What a cute place!!! The interior is so cosy (specially the floor) good food and a lot of options. We had loaded fries and nachos (with vegan cheese and sour cream!!!)

Great vegan options - Edit
Great pub that now has a range of vegan options on the menu. We had classic vegan burgers, sweet potato fries and onion rings. Very good quality food and great value. Been here several times and always left happy.

I can’t comment on the food but they have Münchner Spaten Hell on tap. Something I’ve been craving for since the last time I was in Munich in 2012. We sat outside and enjoyed the buzz of this vibrant bar and surrounding area away from the rhetoric and bustle of the city centre.

Hard to judge the menu as probably just a temporary one. Nice to sit outside. Food came quickly and was tasty. Enjoyed the meal! Waiter came to check it was all ok. Was open on a Monday midday.

Traditional pub with tasty food - Edit
Set at the edge of the Ouseburn this traditional pub is set next to the Tyne. There are at least 1 vegan choice at all times. My spicy jack fruit wrap was amazing, full of flavor to make it memorable served with pitta nachos. My friend had a wellington and enjoyed it too. A vegan choc brownie followed. Overall a delightful venue, excellent on a sunny day to sit outside. Best friendly service in the Ouseburn area for vegans.

Meet me at the Tyne - Edit
Ouseburn has always been my favourite drinking area in Newcastle and I have spent many a day and night in the Tyne bar. Now it has its very own vegan menu. Today we ordered the nachos, hotdog and Vietnamese sweet potato fries. Wow, the food was absolutely delicious and generous in portion size and price. The hotdog was fantastic with such a good smokiness and texture and the added fried onions on top were delicious. The nachos were served with a very nice homemade vegan cheese sauce and sour creamy chive dip, salsa and onion and garlic guacamole dips, whilst the Vietnamese sweet potato fries were perfectly crispy with such a great array of tasty toppings. Whether you sit inside or outside I am sure you will enjoy your visit here too with its great atmosphere and staff and we will be definitely returning again soon.
