Menu is Uninspired

Got the salad and it was bland and one of the only real viable options.

Eek wow Beet "Ravioli"

I got the beet ravioli small plate. It was 14 bucks for 4 thin sliced beets with a very small dab of pesto (could hardly taste it) and small dab of vegan ricotta in the middle. Weirdly enough it COMES with milk goat cheese which why would you have vegan ricotta but milk cheese too? It was pretty bland overall for sure. Small plates cost as much as some of the entrees. I would literally never spend money on that sad little beet plate again. Kinda apprehensive to try any of their other options.
UPDATE: I did come back (fam lives nearby) and tried the Cauliflower Ceviche and though I wouldn't come here just for that, it's an acceptable vegan option. Nothing crazy but it's healthy and at least fully vegan and a sizeable portion with chips.

Pros: Their cocktails look good 🤷‍♀️, Cauliflower Ceviche option

Cons: Pricey for what you get, Honey on some of the wannabe vegan options

No vegan entree items.

Must have changed their menu. Ended up getting a Thai salad which was uninspired

Fabulous outdoor seating and free bread

The food is delicious and they usually have at least one seasonal dish. Super limited vegan options, but there are more vegetarian items. While there aren't many vegan entrees, I don't care because I always order the same two things: the Thai salad and cauliflower ceviche. Pair that with the free fresh bread and a mixed drink and voila! I'm happy as can be. The outdoor seating in the summer is particularly delightful and relaxing. The vegetarian tamal is amazing, but can't be made vegan.

Pros: Outdoor seating, Fresh ingredients

Cons: Limited vegan options

We used to go a lot when we were "vegetarian," but they need to evolve if they want us back

This place has lots of very good vegetarian offerings, but when you narrow it down to vegan it is pretty lacking. The other reviewer "Trummerful" has it pretty much on-point, there is a lot of congealed bovine mammary secretion and the vegan options, though tasty, are insufficient to fill someone up. If you do order every vegan option, getting two or three appetizers and two entrees for a couple, you'll probably get enough to eat while supplementing with the bread, but you'll end up paying a lot for the meal. They could really use some tofu, bean, and hearty grain dishes that were at least "veganizable" to make it truly worth another visit. I say this because, consumer be warned, the vast majority of the "vegan-esque" menu items actually contain eggs, milk, or other non-vegan ingredients that cannot be altered, and they don't even indicate it on the menu. We tried going there with a group of non-vegan family members after a long hiatus and were underwhelmed by what was actually an option.

Pros: Pretty presentation, A few vegan items (but look out for imposters!), Tasty food with fresh ingredients

Cons: Very few options are actually vegan, Hidden eggs and milk in several items, Very expensive for little food

Creative eatery

I actually thought this restaurant was connected to the one Vancouver, but it is very different. A few vegan offerings - the Thai salad is vegan with a tangy dressing that has a bit of a nice kick. The beet ravioli was delicious - tell them vegan style- but I felt it was pricey for the small amount of actual food on the plate (four!). I left hungry, while my non-veggie family was quite full.

Pros: Willing to customize, Nice presentation, Great service, fast!

Cons: Expensive for amount of vegan food , Lack of basic understanding of vegan nutrition , Lots of white flour and cheese things
