Amazing pasties

My family picked up a selection of vegan pasties and sausage rolls this morning. Everyone enjoyed the Mediterranean- and Thai-style Cornish pasties and sausage rolls. The crust was so savory and flaky. The fillings were perfectly seasoned. Well worth the walk down to the Saltburn pier.

Pros: Selection of vegan pasties, Flaky crust

Nice little pit stop

Me and my girlfriend are ticking off places that are on happy cow and this place was the next place we decided to try, as I always ask for an oat milk latte now as it’s what I always get from coffee shops/cafes, the waitress informed me that they didn’t do any dairy free milk, which was a shame, so I just got myself a vegan sausage roll or a vegan roll on their little flag, it was about £2 for a roll and it was the best vegan sausage roll I have ever had, definitely worth the extra money! They also had other vegan pastries available but I wanted to test this vegan roll against the Greggs vegan sausage roll. However the waitress informed me that the sit in cafe next door which was surfs up did dairy free milk alternatives I decided to pop in and get myself a latte, unfortunately they didn’t have any oat milk left when I was there but I had a soya latte which was still very nice.

Pros: Tasty pastries , Staff know what’s vegan friendly and what’s not

Cons: Doesn’t serve dairy free milk , Some pastries are a bit pricey

Amazing for delicious on the go food

The location of this venue is convenient for anyone fancying a trip to Saltburn, as it is located right on the main promenade and you can grab something to munch on whilst you stroll along the beach. I thought that the displays with the various pasties and pastries were well presented. One downside is that there was no indoor seating that I noticed.
Their vegan options are clearly labelled and staff very knowledgable about what is and isn't vegan friendly. One massive downside was that when I went there was no dairy-free milk, so I had to make a stop next door at Surfs-up which has some really good vegan options.
My mediterranean vegetable pasty was a little over £4, which isn't too bad as a one off because I thought that the quality of the food was outstanding. They also did a few other vegan options like a sausage roll and another type of pasty. Thumbs up from me!

Pros: Vegan options clearly labelled, Convenient , Tasty food

Cons: No indoor seating, No dairy-free milk

Seafront surprise

This kiosk on the seafront is run by cheery vegan-friendly people and they have several hot veggie and vegan pasties available, and huge vegan sausage rolls. A surprising find! No (veggie) chips at the time of our visit (Oct 21).

Pros: Friendly staff, good vegan options, clear labeling

Great vegan pasty

Thai vegetable vegan pasty and also vegan sausage rolls available from this takeaway by the sea. Both items are a good size and very tasty. Friendly staff too.
