Good food & Cute atmosphere!

I got the VG breakfast burrito (NextVeg “beef” crumbles, guacamole, potatoes, kale, artichokes, few carrot pieces and other mixed veggies, side of salsa black beans for a little extra) and 1 VG apple pie pancake! Both were great portions, the pancake was bigger than I thought! Meter street parking, some 2hour street parking around the block. Other reviews were right about not too many vegan options but for a non vegetarian cafe it was great and the staff were 10/10⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Pros: Sweet and salty Vegan breakfast options , Breakfast & $3 mimosas all day, Great staff & cute owl mason jar cups

Cute and cozy for breakfast or lunch

Came for breakfast and ordered lunch to go. I really liked the vegan breakfast burrito- NexVeg with avocado, potato, and veggies, and nice salsa. They can do hot chocolate with almond milk and dairy free whipped cream- a real treat! Ordered lunch to go, their “rainbow” burger, also a NexVeg patty with hummus, avocado, and tomato jam- loved it as well. Menu is clearly marked which items are and are not vegan, as well as what can be made vegan.

Handmade made tamales.

Fresh, delicious green chili tamales - beans, eggs, spicy green suuce

Pros: Substitute veggie meat , Fun atmosphere , Great coffee

Cons: Wish they had tofu scramble

Lots of vegan options. Friendly staff!

We ordered the apple pie pancakes and breakfast burrito. Delicious. Very filling. Fair prices. Nut mills available for coffee. Vegan butter for pancakes. So good!

Locally Sourced Vegan Options!

Took my boss to breakfast here, both of us eat mostly plant-based. We were both really amazed by the vegan/vegetarian options available! We each ordered vegan taco options and shared...and were blown away at the quality! The Tepa plant-based protein options were to die for, and now I refer all vegan or dietary restricted friends and guests for a taste of the awesome Toasted Owl selections!!

Pros: Lots of Vegan options, Locally sourced recipes, Eclectic and welcoming atmosphere

Amazing Atmosphere, Even Better Food

The vegan burrito was freakin awesome. I couldn’t eat the whole thing even though I really tried. I got it to-go and ate the rest once we got to the Grand Canyon.

I’m sure the other vegan options are just as good.
I also got a coffee with almond milk creamer and it was delicious.

The waitstaff was very friendly.

The vibe is super young and hip, which as a vegan I obviously love. The entire restaurant is covered in Owl decor. So so cute.

If I come back to Flagstaff in the future I will definitely be returning here.

Not a lot of vegan choices

I found the vegan options to be limited. Great space on the west side of town, including a nice patio.

Favorite breakfast place

Every visit to Flagstaff merits a visit to the Toasted Owl. I love the tepa burgers, burritos and veggie scrambles. Gf and vegan options abound for both breakfast and lunch. I also appreciate that a patron can enjoy an adult beverage with their meal

great vegan options

I stopped there for breakfast. After reading other reviews I decided to order breakfast burrito. It had nice mix of vegetables including brussel sprouts and some great mix of spices.
It was great choice. I'd like to see more vegan options on the menu.

Pros: friendly knowledgeable stuff, delicious food

Cons: not enough vegan options

atmosphere and breakfast

Got the Vegan Breakfast Burrito and asked for more greens than anything else and man did the deliver. It was perfect. I'm mean without my greens and if my plate isn't mostly veggies I can't consider it a meal. If you operate the same way I recommend following suit in this breakfast burrito.

Breakfast

For breakfast there are two options only. Burrito and tacos. Burrito was stuffed with veggies but very greasy.

Pros: dog friendly patio

Cons: limited options
