Meat Found in So-Called “Vegan” dish. - Edit
It’s slim pickings if you’re in this area in terms of veg options. The “vegan” Pad Thai was bland to begin with but to my horror, I found a piece of meat in it. They are careless. See photos.

Solid Thai place - Edit
The curry was delicious and well made. Nothing is marked Vegan, but they have a lot of vegetarian options that I understand to actually be vegan. Small restaurant, but clean.

Serene and welcoming atmosphere! I was satisfied by the overall taste and variety . within the food- options for both meat/non meat eaters. What really stood out to me was the dessert. I never heard of Mango Sticky Rice. I recommend

ok option in a pinch - Edit
I have been to The Thai Place several times with my relatives in the past few years, as it has been an option for a meeting place with vegan choices but a general non-veg menus for everyone else. The food has always been okay, vegan options have been easily discussed, and the service has been fine- until last weekend. The server did not seem sure about whether the vegetarian menu items were all made without fish and which could be vegan, but ultimately assured me the Thai curry was vegan- it tasted pretty fishy when I ate it. Our large table during a seemingly slow time of day waited about 20 minutes for water and to order drinks and apps, then another 20 minutes after apps arrived to order the meals. Our server kept taking off quickly before we could catch her attention to order food or ask questions. Two of the meals were incorrect per the server's mistake, yet we received attitude for asking for them to be corrected. Nobody at the table was happy with the food or experience, though everyone remained cheerful and saw the humor. The check arrived with an 18% tip added automatically, and the consensus of the table to contest the automatic addition- the service was that bad (at some point my cousin got up and fetched the water pitcher from the server's station to refill the table's waters). I don't think my relatives will be returning, and I would not stop here if I was passing through.

A pleasant surprise! - Edit
I was a little worried about finding vegan food in Sturbridge, MA and stumbled in to this place. There's a vegetarian section of the menu, and I had the Tom Kha soup and a vegan noodle dish. Both were very flavorful, especially the soup. And the server, Hannah, was vegan!
