Truly terrible

We attempted to eat here after booking and asking about vegetarian and vegan choices. The menu had vegetarian sections, there was an ingredients guide and the menu claimed that the restaurant took special care of those with dietary needs. However many vegetarian labelled dishes contained listings of shrimp or oyster sauce, and when we asked the waiters we were told contradictory things about dishes containing or not containing fish products. Finally the manager told us the ingredients list was only a ‘guide’ and that we should have asked the waiters about the ingredients. He did not seem to understand the irony that we had asked and been told contradictory things and he talked over us when we tried to explain our concerns. We decided to leave because we had no confidence that the food we might order would be free from meat or fish products and were presented with a bill for the drinks we had not drunk as they were to go with our meal. When we questioned this the manager said he would take them off the wages for the waiters!

Cons: Truly awful experience.
