Super Excellent Plant-Based Dishes - Edit
This is some of the best vegan food you will find in Tucson. They use fresh ingredients, locally-sourced. There are always interesting, unique dishes on the menu. Definitely NOT one of those vegan junk food places. The price is a little higher, but it's totally worth it. I always come here if possible for special occasions - especially my birthday!

Very Special - Edit
This is a real sit-down restaurant. Hours are dinner-times only. I had a starter(sweet potato wedges); a meal(veggie/raw sushi) &watermelon juice. I feel this was probably too much food; even though I shared. My meal was all raw; therefore, filling &nutritious. The meal ranked up there at a '10'. This is one of the best restaurants around. Atmosphere; decor, food are all superlative. Easy parking at the rear of Bldg. Addition note: Tasteful Kitchen offers food prep classes at various times in the year. Have eaten here many times since this review(when in Tucson).

HIGHLY RECOMMEND - Edit
I came with my meat loving mother and sister who were nervous about going to an all vegetarian restaurant but they ended up being blown away with everything we ordered. Amazing food, we ordered the sushi, tacos, spring rolls, locally grown greens and newest menu item potatoes and Brussels sprouts were to die for. Big props to the chef!

Not to be missed (mostly) vegan spot in Tucson! - Edit
Traveled to Tucson recently for some winter sun and found The Tasteful Kitchen on HappyCow. This restaurant exceeded my expectation and even my carnivorous husband loved it. The cuisine is thoughtful, creative and tasty. Desserts do not disappoint. Portions are large, so come with an appetite and/or take away containers. You won't want to waste a single bite.

Friendly AND delicious - Edit
Most accommodating (as we had a special request) and friendly service with wonderful vegan fare. We arrived early without reservations and were seated immediately. I had the prix fixe selection consisting of soup, salad, a green chile polenta entree and apple crumble for dessert. Was delicious. My partner started with the vegetable soup, avocado tacos and then portobello wellington, which were also great. Would come back in a second if we lived in Tucson! Thanks for a great meal!

Creative and Delicious Cuisine that anyone would enjoy - Edit
We have been coming to Tucson for three years and somehow just discovered this wonderful restaurant. I ordered the four course menu which started with a tomato bisque soup then salad. I had the cauliflower steak entree which was divine. It was breaded and topped with white beans, green beans and had roasted tomatoes and potatoes. Finished up with a warm apple crisp topped with coconut milk vanilla ice cream. Outstanding. My man got the mushroom Wellington with roasted Brussels sprouts, squash and cabbage and it was rich and wonderful. We will be back. This was an excellent meal! I wish we had a place like this where we lived.

Superb - Edit
I was thrilled to find such a fabulous place in Tucson! Almost all of the menu items are vegan and the one or two that were vegetarian but contained egg, were well pointed out by the server. The food here is excellent and you can tell a lot of thought and effort goes into it. Even my husband, who isn't vegan thought it was superb! Would have loved to try their desserts, but we were both too full. Will definitely be going back next time we're in Tucson!👍👍👍

We came here one evening and had nice evening meal.
Read moreThe vegan options were unusual with strong flavours. My partner had a vegan raw soup which he still raves about!
Every table in this place was taken and it was a weekday, so bear that in mind. It is walk-able from the town center if you're travelling and don't have a car, or a short cab would do. I just remember we were the last table to leave and they were closing up around us at like 8:30pm, so it does wind down pretty early (compared to the UK/Europe anyway).

Wonderful! - Edit
Small portions? Medium, actually. Pricey? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely. What a great dining experience! Not only was the food exceptional (I had the ratatouille), but the service was fabulous! The quiet, intimate setting is perfect for a relaxing night out with family or friends. There's ample parking in back, too. Enjoy!!

GO!! :D - Edit
I'm not sure what I ordered...some macrobiotic dish. I'm vegan and they accommodate well. The sushi was ok but that macrobiotic dish we got as take out was unbelievable! A nice burger thing on yummy cooked greens dipped in carrot purée! Ok, sounds weird but YUM! There were a few other dishes I wish I could have tried before we left town but GO! It's worth it :)

Small portions / small selection - Edit
The portions are small, the prices are high and the selection of vegan options are exceedingly small. If you aren't in the mood for the few options there are that night you are out of luck.

without the gps we would have never found that place i think. it was dark night and first time we drove past it, but found it when turning back. its a very small place and you really dont know what to expect. we got the todays deal which included soup another starter, main and dessert. the soup was very delicious. the main included some green beans which were not fully cooked. the rest of the food was good too. they have few different items on the small menu, so if you are not picky its worth trying. the 2 sisters are friendly ladies. not very spectacular but healthy and fresh food.

The Tastefil Kitchen's Vegetarian Supper Club - Edit
For Valentine's Day, my best friend and I went on a Girl Date to The Vegetarian Supper Club at The Tasteful Kitchen. I was blown away.
Read moreThe Vegetarian Supper Club is a fixed menu, four course gourmet vegetarian meal (which can be made vegan easily) event. For $25/person you get a soup, salad, entree, and dessert. Included throughout are fresh, well-balanced vegetable fruit juices and herbal tea. The food is fantastic. The portions are perfect. Normally a four course meal would make me feel overstuffed, but here it was perfect. They do not serve alcohol, but we brought a bottle of wine to share.
The walls at The Tasteful Kitchen are used as gallery space and we were entertained by lovely, non-intrusive live music. The space is small, warmly lit, and near several art/sculpture galleries. I am telling everyone about this place and look forward to taking friends there. There is also a tasty-looking ala carte menu that I'm excited to try.
Oh! One last thing. There are no meat substitutes or tofu used. The food is made from fresh, whole ingredients, very nourishing!
Pros: excellent food, healthy ingredients, interesting meal
Cons: small space
