Good vegan choice in an area without many options - Edit
We went to the Swan this weekend for a family meal (10 people) mainly as I'd heard it has a vegan menu.
Read moreThe vegan and vegetarian menu was the first thing in the menu booklet (rather than being tucked away at the back) and was clearly marked with what was vegan. There were 3 vegan starters and 5 vegan mains on the menu.
The waitress understood vegan needs and double checked something with the kitchen for us.
For dessert they had good vegan cake (which was from the coffee shop and not on the menu).
The restaurant itself was nice and the service relaxed and friendly.
It's a shame there wasn't a vegan option on the children's menu, and the vegan shepherds pie wasn't that tasty, but in an area with few vegan choices we will certainly be back when next visiting Stafford.
