Serves meat, vegan options available. Offers veggie sushi and other dishes such as the rice noodle salad with tofu can be made vegan upon request. Open Tue-Sun 4:00pm-9:00pm.
Closed Mon.
Speaking to the vegan options, it has a couple to choose from, which is more than I would expect from this part of the country. The Inari Pockets (fried tofu) were yummy, edamame was a nice snack, and the Sharlie’s Garden was fresh. The vegetarian bowl was pretty average, nothing really special about it.
The worst part was the service. It took about 10 minutes for anyone to even talk to us, and despite us asking them to repeat themselves, we could barely hear them. They hardly checked on us (unless we made eye contact) and we had to ask to have water brought out. I understand the food coming out slowly, as the kitchen was backed up, but when we were finished and ready for a check they never brought us one, and we had to go up to the bar to close out. I would rather just go to natural grocers to get some food than go here in the future.
They were very friendly and the server + chef catered to making vegan options available for me! I had the Vietnamese soba noodle with fried tofu (must request for a vegan sauce because the original comes with fish sauce). It was very good! I enjoyed it a lot, only wish they added more tofu.
