Friendly and inclusive pub - Edit
The staff at this pub could not have been more accommodating and willing to help. They talked us through the vegan options and sorted meals to suit all of the family. I had a roast with vegan yorkies! which was decent, home cooked, filling and very reasonably priced. The chips were also fab and vegan options were cooked in a separate fryer. The chilli however lacked a little flavour. They also offer gluten free options, doggy meals and blankets etc I was really impressed with their willingness to be inclusive to all members of the family and dietary requirements.

Decent but.... - Edit
Decent but not exceptional. It was a handy place to stop after visiting the Dinosaur Museum! Friendly staff, lots of vegan options , good prices - we both ordered the mushroom pie with chips & peas for only £5 each! The veg was a bit overcooked and while I love mushroom pie normally I only ate half of my pie. It had a strange taste that didn't agree with me. My other half enjoyed his though. I hear the cauliflower bites are good!

Good range of options for a non vegan pub - Edit
There was a decent amount of choice , including more unusual items like vegan Yorkshire puddings ; however the kitchen had run out of many menu items due to it being a bank holiday . The staff were friendly and tried to adapt the food they had where possible . We had vegan sausage and mash , which came with a choice of two types. It was slightly plain but the gravy was nice .

Pleasant inn on IoW with vegan options - Edit
As this place was close to our holiday lodge and there isn't a purely vegan restaurant on the island, we decided to give this restaurant a try.

Loved the model railway running through the inn.

Great food, service and atmosphere. - Edit
I stopped here on a cycle ride around the island, in fact I made a slight detour from my planned route and it was most definitely worth it.
Read moreThe vegan nut roast was excellent with a nice range of veg and a jug of gravy. There are also other vegan options too. The staff were friendly and attentive (very helpful with directions) and the atmosphere was pleasant - happy but not rowdy. There's also a garden.
This really is a great find on the Island, I wholeheartedly recommend a visit. (I would give it 5 stars for their contribution to veganism - but I'm not allowed because it isn't full veg).

A fantastic lunch - Edit
Stopped here for lunch in mid June 2017. Place was busy but staff friendly and keen to help. Our party enjoyed a vegetable pie and nut roast with loads of potatoes, veggies and gravy. Strawberries and ice cream for dessert.

Great pub! - Edit
The Sun Inn is possibly the friendliest pub I have stepped foot in. The staff are always very friendly and happy to accomodate for vegan options/allergens.

They offer a range of vegetarian options also.
I am yet to try a vegan dessert there!
Overall, it's always a wonderful, homely dining experience there.
