Natural foods store offering organic coffee, wine, as well as baked goods and vegetarian sandwiches. Open Mon-Fri 8:00am-6:00pm, Sat-Sun 9:00am-4:00pm.
They have a bunch of coffee options and can easily do vegan. They can also do iced coffee if you ask! This is a good place to go to shop around a little (they have a ton of local/Maine made crafts and some specialty foods and wine/beer) and get a good coffee while skipping the line at Nest down the street
The Store is a small coffee shop and health food store in downtown Orono. They have a great, central location.
My personal experiences with the Store have been somewhat mixed. They sell delicious, large cookies , but, unfortunately, none of these are vegan. Their coffee is pretty good, and they make a variety of coffee drinks. They also sell locally made bread that is quite good. Unfortunately, I find their selection of vegetarian and vegan food to be somewhat limited, particularly compared to other stores in the area. They sell canned beans and vegetables, frozen Amy's brand foods, and a few other assorted items. I have had a few experiences finding food for sale that was expired or for sale with the expiration date marked through or removed from a container.
I would only recommend visiting The Store for coffee, cookies (for non-vegans), or to pick up fresh bread.

Pros: local bread available, good cookies (not vegan, though)
Cons: not much of a selection of vegan food, sell food products that are expired
