Best carrot cake! - Edit
We were here a year ago and made an hour long trip just to visit again because the carrot cake is amazing and the staff are beyond lovely!

Tasty cake - Edit
Had a work meeting here and enjoyed sitting outside in the autumn sun in one of the outdoor pod / huts. Super friendly staff. Was delighted to find a choice of cakes and bakes. The carrot cake was moist and sweet. The owner urged me to have the plant based milks, but I am used to black tea anyway! Would definitely come back and try a savoury bake another day.
Read moreHad a drink with oat milk. Disappointed to find plant milks cost 50p extra. Having ordered this I was encouraged to try a cheese scone so fair to say they just don’t get it. I heard the management is about to change. Downgraded my review to 3stars.

Pros: Easy to find in Riding Mill and handy for trains, Stock vegan chocolate etc
Cons: Compostsble ware but suspect all binned anyway , Plant milks 50p extra
