Fully vegan! - Edit
Tried a bunch of different things here today and everything was delicious! Had the TLTandA, the kids grilled cheese, and the kids Mac and cheese. The fries are perfectly seasoned wedge fries with great dipping sauces. So impressed!

One of my fav local spots - Edit
I have been coming to this place since I first went vegan, and have seen it undergo menu changes and mature as an establishment, going from almost exclusively takeout to now a sit-down restaurant.
Read moreSo I was heartbroken when I received an email that it would be closing at the end of this month. Knew I needed to stop by and support it in these last days. Food was delicious as always. Will definitely miss this gem🫶Hopefully the great minds behind it can keep their love for food going elsewhere

Great local spot! - Edit
I was pleasantly surprised to find a vegan restaurant while visiting Fairfield, and even more pleased with the food! We ordered a variety of dishes for vegans and non-vegans alike, and everyone seemed pretty happy with our dinner. My chicken fried tofu was a delicious, fun entree, and my tastes of the buddha bowl and noodles were great as well. Would love to come back whenever I'm visiting again!

Get the Mac - Edit
Stopped by on a road trip. This place is right off the highway. The cauliflower app has a great sauce but I thought the breading could be better. The Mac and cheese is a 10/10.

Great food! - Edit
Delicious! Probably one of the best vegan burgers that I’ve ever had. It was homemade, and flavored so well. We also got the jackfruit rueben which want add good as the burger but still decent. It’s not very dense on the jack fruit, and the texture of jackfruit was too soft to resemble the real thing, but the flavor was great.

Delicious smoothies and great food! Our favorite dish is the French onion burger. Great for dine-in or takeout. Food portions are a little small for the price.

Perfectly Located off I-95 - Edit
Fully vegan restaurant with a nice variety of options. The inside of the restaurant was adorable. Each table had flowers, the tables were well spaced, and it was nicely decorated. The staff was attentive and very kind. It’s a very easy stop right off of the highway when traveling through Connecticut. The food was very good, the presentation was lovely, it was reasonably priced, and as an added bonus, there was live music while we were there. This will definitely become a regular stop when traveling this route.

A Gem in Fairfield - Edit
The Stand is a great spot to meet up with a friend for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The menu has nice variety, although it heavily sways towards typical cafe faire. But there isn't a menu item I have tried that I didn't like!
Read moreTheir expanded hours for evening dining is also a very welcome change. Their prices can seem a bit steep for breakfast or lunch (in my opinion), but combined with table service and elegant dinner entrees and cozy atmosphere, it feels like a very worthwhile night out at dinnertime.
The chicken fried tofu and skinny Buddha bowl are some of our favorites!
The Stand is definitely worth supporting and a hidden gem within Fairfield.
Pros: Menu changes periodically., Good vibe and friendly staff., Outdoor seating in the Summer.
Cons: Not cheap...but good quality ingredients never are

Outstanding! - Edit
Stopped here for a late lunch with my wife and mother. Staff was very pleasant, and the food was absolutely delicious! We had the Light Buddha Bowl, Soya and Zunoodles, and The Mac and Cheese. All three dishes contained ample portions, and the food was extremely tasty. Everything was very fresh, and all the food is made to order, so it takes a little while for the food to arrive, but it is definitely worth the wait!

Great road trip stop - Edit
The Stand is right off I-95 North, super easy to stop and take a break during a long drive. The cafe was bright and lively, and I enjoyed perusing mg their collection of vegan cookbooks while we waited for our food. I had the Skinny Buddha Bowl, which was delicious, but they have a little of everything on the menu from juices to comfort food.

Very tasty. Friendly service. - Edit
The only negative is that it’s a bit pricy. Otherwise, I thought everything was very tasty. I had the Buddha bowl. My husband had a jackfruit grilled cheese sandwich. I also had hibiscus iced tea and we had a couple of yummy almond butter chocolate chip balls. The woman and the register was very friendly and welcoming.

Small portions, yummy sandwiches - Edit
We had the jackfruit grilled cheese, tofu banh mi with (four) steak fries (for 4.50 more) and a kids Mac and cheese because we were still hungry after ordering those two and not eating breakfast earlier. We liKed the jackfruit sandwich the most. Overall, it was healthy tasting, not particularly spicy, no hot sauce option, the Mac and cheese was straight up bland, and not good. The condiments/sauces were good but the portions were smaller. It’s not as good as the other vegan restaurants we’ve been to in CT.

Well someone got a makeover - Edit
Beautiful setting, classy “parisian-esque” casual sit down dining. Came here on a perfect summer scarf weather day so this review might be influenced by some rose tinted glasses, but I can assure you wont he disappointed. Just reading their menu, I could feel my mouth start to water and my blood sugar steady. Young vibrant but CHILL wait staff Also, I hear the owner Jenna is a literal goddess.
