Vegan = Remove from plate - Edit
The vegan Nut roast was tasty with nice gravy.
Read moreHowever to make the dish vegan it basically meant removing the Stuffing, Yorkshire Pudding and Cauliflower cheese. So meal felt very unimpressive vs veggie or meat option.
Pros: Vegan Dhal, Nut roast was tasty
Cons: Why does Vegan = remove items and not replace, Poor staff knowledge of what vegan option means, Clear menu to say what is/ is not vegan

Good food and service - Edit
Had a toasted houmous and roasted veg sandwich. Couldn’t have the fries as they are cooked with the chicken. Lovely staff, nice atmosphere. They seemed switched on about vegan and even checked with the chef why the chips were only vegetarian not vegan. A few options such as roasted cauliflower steak, Tempura veg, burgers, selection of vegan ice creams. The vegan cooked Forest breakfast is good. Recommend.
