Be careful when you order. You have to ask to remove the cheese and sour cream even when asking for a vegan burrito.

There is a vegan chickpea burger which is nice and a few vegan side dishes. There is also homemade lemonade.

Fewer, but delicious vegan options. There are two menu cards here, if the vegan options are not on one, ask for the second. The vegan dishes are on the menu Card with breakfast and are not distributed in the evening but you still get them😄

They have a vegan chickpea burger with guacamole and pico da gallo on the menu, and also the option to create your own burger wich I went for. I chose the chickpea patty with caramelized onions, pickles and bbq sauce. It was quite tasty, they are not stingy with the ingredients!
Read moreVery pleased that they did not offer the meat resembling beyond burger or similar options. The chickpea burger might be softer in texture but I much prefer that to burgers that try to taste like meat.

Vegan options very limited - Edit
I actually wanted to go for the chickpea burger but was told that neither the bun nor the chips are vegan, so the staff recommended the vegan bowl. It was quite OK, but I would have liked it with some more spices. Might go to try the vegan breakfast option, although I was told it’s just a little snack, but smoothies seemed good … so, I’ll might combine it 😉

The coffee is placed at the entrance to a small arts market. The menu has few vegan options (incl an poke bowl, make your own salad, wrap) and several more vegetarian options.

I really enjoyed the tofu poked bowl. Great flavours. The chickpea burger and chips was good too. Great place with a few vegan options. You can make your own burger or bowl so pick whatever your fave vegan choices.

Nothing special, the burgers were rather soft, old style veggie patties, but at least there were options, and the place is clean, nice and centrally located.

As the price of the burger is low, about 6.50 with fries, and the taste is okay, I would have come again, had my stay in Funchal not ended.
About the beer and wine list they don't know what's vegan or not, so you have to go with barnivore or just take the risk as I did... Lots of small brands on the list, they are not on Barnivore.
