Great food with some different options - Edit
Really nice food and not the same old stuff that so many vegan places do...no Beyond Burgers or Moving Mountains anywhere! Instead some way more interesting options, and the two I got to try were fantastic- goulash and the seaweed arancini. Lots more to try so looking forward to a return visit.

Varied menu - Edit
First time visiting the sly fox after trying the arranchini at the vegan market. Ordered the potato pancakes and a toastie. Both very fab although very filling. My friend went for the veggie breakfast. We also tried the rose latte which was great. Will return if in the area again. The decor was also lovely and the service was great.

The perfect café - Edit
I absolutely love this place! My other half is Czech (and vegan like me), so we were delighted to discover this Czech vegan café in Edinburgh. The food is utterly delicious and always very well seasoned. I am also a big fan of the decor (posters of famous Czech women). All in all, I would say this is probably my new favourite place in the whole city. I recently moved away from Scotland, but I will definitely be back when I am in Edinburgh again.

Deliciously different - Edit
If you’re tired of the same vegan menu options then this place is perfect! The dishes are influenced by Czech cuisine, they have the best selection of drink options from the fridge and also raw desserts from Rawsmary. My favourite cafe in leith!

5/5 top notch - Edit
Highly recommend !! Lovely little spot near the shore, friendly happy atmosphere created by the very attentive and helpful staff! Veggie breakfast was a real winner, loved the potato pancake addition, and I had a slice of the raw cake which was scrumptious without being too filling- the perfect breakfast cake 🤣 coffee was lovely and the tea too, definitely the top veggie breakfast I’ve had since moving to Edinburgh, I’m very pleased to be local! And also dog friendly!! #Veganuary

Lovely spot - Edit
Visited for family Sunday breakfast. The menu is fantastic and we struggled to choose, ending up with 3 full brekkies, pancakes and French toast. Some vit d shots woke us up and the coffee was lovely. High point was the lovely pots of tea which stayed piping hot and were such good value. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our food, beautifully cooked and the portion size was spot on. A lovely relaxed vibe and kind service, we will definitely return next time we are in Edinburgh.

Lovely - Edit
Lovely little cafe. Staff were friendly. Scrambled tofu with mushrooms and ‘bacon’ was delicious - came with sourdough toast (no butter). Sandwich was really nice but was only half a sandwich which we didn’t expect, it was only £3.50 though. Would definitely return.

Great café with all your street food faves - Edit
The Sly Fox was always a hit at the markets, so I am really happy that they have found a permanent residence in Leith!
Read moreI had the goulash, which was always my go-to at their stall, and yes it's still as delicious and comforting as it's always been! I also tried the 'salmon' cream on toast for starters - also really yummy. These folks just can't go wrong.
Their hummus is also the best I've ever tasted - so I was delighted to see there are tubs available to buy and take away😄

Cosy and welcoming - Edit
A very cute cafe with a lovely menu to choose from. It has a really nice atmosphere and there were good options on the menu like soup, burgers, falafel, Mac and cheese as well as some spicier options. Interesting cold drink options, which they will happily describe to you. Lovely and helpful staff, relaxed and willing to have a chat or leave you be. Would encourage vegans and veggies to support them if you're in the area!

Very tasty - Edit
Visited their stand at Stockbridge market in Edinburgh. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, they were not allowed to serve hot food, so it was only hummus, faux gras etc., but tasted great. As a Czech, I cannot wait to taste their goulash and other stuff!
