Their smoothies are super good. The food was okay, nothing special and the portions a bit small. The carrot cake was too dry, but the cheesecake was amazing

A great find !!! - Edit
Really loved this place. Staff friendly, decor super chill, coffees delicious. Soya milk available so as vegans we were thrilled. Tried the bruschetta for a snack which was really yummy. Juices also great. Coming back for dinner as soon many options. Opposite us were a couple returning after having a great meal the night before so ...... this place really is great find.

Amazing!! - Edit
This is a wonderful place to come. The restaurant has a very relaxed atmosphere, and the waitress was so friendly and kind! And wow, I did not expect to find incredible vegan pizza and a vegan lime cheesecake in Da Lat. Both very well presented, and delicious. I highly recommend coming here:)

Just ok - Edit
Didn’t like up to the pictures or some of the reviews. The pizza menu wasn’t available the day we visited so that was disappointing as it was the main reason to go, but these things happen so next time in that. It just felt like the flavors were missing from the meals we ordered. Will try again soon.

Ordered pizza which was fine, came with vegan salted cubed cheese and few raw veggies. They have vegan chocolate milk which was hard to find but i didnt really like their cookies... actually came for the pesto ganucci in the photo but its not vegan.

Loved the vegan pizza - Edit
Great pumpkin soup. The cheese on the pizza wasn't mozzarella style but was very very tasty. They make it themselves, it's raw and the owner is really proud of it so he is asking about the taste and explaining how to make the cheese if you liked it. Was a lot of fun and very personal.

Bon mais trop cher ! - Edit

Abused ?? We give to you a menu with name of the dishes, name of the ingredients, pictures of the dishes and prices of the dishes ....or are you a masochist who love to be tortured just to be able afterwards to show your open wounds like in San Sebastian painting by Andrea Mantegna??
Read moreExpensive?? ....Italian vegetarian/vegan dishes takes time and sweat to be created ......if you are Gourmet or a kind of "chef cook" you are supposed to know it...and time & sweat cost money especially if you have people working for the restaurant full time......but you are a "pretend to be gourmet" and then there are not further discussion because you have no idea how much the management of a gastronomic enterprise costs and definitely you are not a gentleman either because you forget the "Bon Ton" d:). Gnocchi with pesto a little farinaceous ?? ....hahahahaha It is my favorite dish and I’ve done it millions of times learning from my mother who has done million of time as well. My dear "Chiche sans cross traveller" with the gnocchi you pressed the wrong button d:)
I wish you to continue your journey in this country safe and without further embarrassments for gastronomic community. d:)……By the way thank you for you visit and the support of vegetarian/vegan restaurants. Without your support the humans probably have to cut some more trees to make space for cows farms. d:)

Be careful of added cheese - Edit
Fantastic Italian restaurant with a Vietnamese twist. Very tasty food and good vibes, quite busy with tourists. The only problem was I made it clear I was vegan and couldn’t have cheese and went through the menu with the waitress, only to have my spaghetti brought out with cheese grated on top. I asked if it was vegan and they said no and quickly stole it away saying they’d change it for me. It was brought back 2 mins later with the a few stray tell tale bits of cheese still left behind after they’d just attempted to remove it. I wasn’t going to send it back as it was just a few gratings but stricter vegans might want to be wary and make sure to ask for NO CHEESE!

Lovely restaurant with even lovelier staff that spoke great English. So kind and helpful! Most of the dishes were vegan. We had the pasta pomodoro, and guacamole dip and all of it was super tasty! More expensive than most Vietnamese places, but really worth a visit.

Average. Has way better for 1/3rd the price. - Edit
Very pricey. I had the cookies and they were GROSS.
Read moreAlexoverthesky
Dear BethanyRoden
Read moreMy cookies are not gross perhaps is you review (superficial and too easy): two star and two text lines to explain 20 hours work (16 hours dehydrator included d:))……. If you know another shop in Dalat where to get energy cookies 1/3 cheaper you are supposed to tell it to the T.A. readers. To know the name of the shop and the address is probably interesting to me as well …. I could buy the cookies there, spare a lot of money and “positive” energy and devote my precious time to the preparation of the other 50 or more dishes that I have in my menu.
By the way is there in Dalat a tasting festival of the Energy cookies for gourmet?? You are the second guest in two days who come to my restaurant to just order cookies d:)
I open a Vegetarian restaurant for an environmental cause basically because I still hope in a better future …………vegetarian/vegan people are supposed to know that and understand that run this type of business is not easy, I’m not looking for support but honestly I don’t understand all this unfair aggressive attitude either d:(

Dear Selonyx
Read moreTo keep open a foreign vegetarian/vegan restaurant in Vietnam is not that simple & easy…... I would invite You to volunteer for a while in my restaurant to understand what I mean d:)……….Most of the Vietnamese vegetarian customer go to local Dalat vegetarian restaurants (about 30 in Dalat). To attract foreign customer, you need to have foreign special ingredients (olive oil, capers, Pine nuts, buckwheat, millet, chia seeds, lentils, cumin, chickpeas, couscous, barley, spelt, etc etc) to make the difference and to buy imported ingredients is expensive. Even then is not easy because foreign vegetarian/vegan tourist use to stay in Dalat just a couple of days and often they discover my restaurant the last day d:). Most of them appreciate the food, the ambiance and the service and after that they warmly greet me saying they will come back next year (perhaps). ……Is difficult to have vegetarian customer who come regularly to the restaurant so is very difficult to contain the expenses. Even though I consider my restaurant not expensive I’m aware that if you want you can find cheaper Vietnamese vegetarian restaurants even with vegan food ………due this reason I don’t understand why if you were looking for cheap vegan food (cookies) you decide to stop in my restaurant d:) To open a vegetarian/vegan restaurant in Vietnam you don’t make money, it is a kind of “mission enterprise”……..(I could open a Italian restaurant and make nice Profits d:)) I open a Vegetarian restaurant for an environmental cause basically because I still hope in a better future …………vegetarian/vegan people are supposed to know that and understand that run this type of business is not easy, I’m not looking for support but honestly I don’t understand all this unfair aggressive attitude either d:(

Ambience is nice but the food was too salty - Edit
I was expecting more but was quite disappointed. My caponata was way too salty and I couldn’t even finish it. All the veggies were way over cooked too.

Dear PhuongPhan
Read moreThe Caponata is a Sicilian dish which need to be cooked at list half hour to combine the flavour of all the ingredients in a unique sweet and sour taste typical of the Sicilian island. Is not a capsicum aubergine sauté cooked for short time where the ingredients flavours remain separate d:)…..Actually “Caponata” is even better the “day after” cause the vegetables flavours have more time to combine. ………..So it wasn’t overcooked d:). About “too salty” I’m very sorry about that (sometimes it happens) but I don’t understand why You don’t call the waitress to change the dish instead to force Yourself to eat a salty dish till the end (??!!)……….I’m old fashion person and I use to do it in the restaurant if my dish is not good …..I call the waitress and I lets her change my dish d:)……….Can you imagine I even don’t need to complain on internet d:) Anyway I’m humbly hope you accept my most sincere apologies and I hope to see you again to fix the inconvenience d:)

Delicious and Authentic Italian - Edit
I have eaten dinner 2 nights in a row at The Sky Over Dalat and both meals were excellent.
Read moreThe first meal was lentils with carrots (yes, that's an Italian dish!), served with either black rice or potatoes. My glass of Chilean red wine was perfect with it.
My second meal, last night, was penne pasta with pesto. Yum! Again, an Italian red wine was perfect with it.
There are a number of appetizers and desserts which I didn't try, but what I had was excellent.
Alex, the owner, makes everything from old family recipes. He is warm and friendly.
Pros: Everything is vegetarian or vegan, Everything is delicious!, Good-sized portions
Cons: Would have liked to have bread
