Nice laneway stop - Edit
We stopped here for a short rest and some fresh food during our day in Ubud. The salads were fresh and cold and hit the spot for a gap filler between bigger meals

Interesting food - Edit
I enjoyed my time at the restaurant. I had the pesto feta wrap and a green juice.
Read morePortions were generous, it comes with a salad, both were tasty, although they hid olives in my wrap and I am not a fan so had to scoop them out haha.
If you are into raw, go for it!
Pros: Big menu to choose from, Portions were generous
Cons: Dont like the fishy taste for the ceasar salad, Olives not advertized in my wrap.

Nice - Edit
Lovely venue and staff. I had the tacos, which were juicy and tasty; not sure what they use for the taco shells but they held together well. The buffalo wings were tasty and not too crunchy.

Lovely restaurant - Edit
We ate here during our time in Ubud and really enjoyed the vibe and peacefulness of this place. The staff were friendly and welcoming, food was served quickly and the portion sizes are very generous! The cauliflower wings and homemade hummus were the stars of the show for me🤩 However, items were a little pricey so possibly not the best place for those on a tighter budget.

Leider hat das Essen schöner ausgesehen als geschmeckt, da alles wirklich „raw“ ist oder fermentiert ist. Die Gesundheit steht hier wirklich über dem Geschmackserlebnis…

Inspiring raw food - Edit
Really like this place and enjoyed several meals here because of the nutrition.
Read moreMy favourite is the lasagna in which I ask for less avo and more mango (a wise pick!). Laksa soup has the flavours on point, pizza was alright. The calzone a bit odd (but I did have that as takeaway so it might differ when it’s completely fresh). Love their side seaweed salad. Sashimi was interesting. Wish they had a breakfast that wasn’t so “maxed” with so many different ingredients. I like things simple, especially in the morning. Like the papaya salad (but that portion is tiny).
The three things that makes me not give the place three stars are:
1. Quality fluctuates a lot. One day the lasagna was licked-my-plate good, another very bleak. Had the same experience with the carawbonara a few years ago.
2. No sugar free desserts.
3. Many dishes are very fatty which doesn’t do me any good.
Still enjoy coming because it’s so seldom you get creative raw food.
Pros: Healthy , Organic , Nice seating
Cons: No sugar free desserts , Very fatty

Ok but not fantastic - Edit
Nice restaurant with lots of choice of salads, tacos, all plant based and raw. I ordered the SOL bowl. It was ok but there was too much dressing to be able to taste the food. Tacos were better.

Beautiful food and decor - Edit
First time at the Seeds of Life the menu was a bit overwhelming-so many delicious things to choose from.
Read moreWe sat upstairs on the floor. There are no windows so you get a good breeze at night.
The tonics and smoothies are really incredible. We had the Shangri la and the Alma Dhatri.
We got the three dips to share, the gnocchi and the laksa. All delicious. Our first time eating raw and we loved it. We got dessert from the fridge downstairs to take away.
Pros: The drinks, The calm vibe , Free water

Great sushi/Burger - Edit
Very down to earth eatery, great raw experience. Food was delicious but the atmosphere is why I have it a 3 star. Hot with little air flow and food took about 35 minutes. But the food: sushi and nigiri were amazing. We’ve had vegan sushi a lot of places and this was truly inspiring. Wasabi was authentic and spicy, cauliflower rice stole the show for my wife. Pesto burger was unforgettable and the fresh juice tonics added an overall spring freshness to the meal.

Wish I could’ve given a better review - Edit
Most of the food here did look awesome, but since we just had desserts and drinks that’s what I’m reviewing.
Read moreI’ve been to many raw food places where the desserts doesn’t just taste like one thing - greasy coconut oil. Unfortunately, here they did.
We also had the kombucha which did not have any sparkles and was too sweet. So just not fermented properly. The prices for the desserts also seemed out of proportion given the quality. And many of the desserts contained lecithin which is so bad for our stomachs. So for a “healthy healing place”‘ I’d expect the food to be without additives.
However, staff and location great. Wish they would improve the standard of their desserts and drinks.
Pros: Nice staff, Great location
Cons: Desserts not so good , Pricy, kombucha 55,000

Absolutely Ubud's No.1 Place To Eat - Edit
On our trip, this was the restaurant that was most tempting to revisit because it just does so many things right. The standard of food, particularly raw vegan food in Ubud is so high, and Seeds was literally the only restaurant that actually went above and beyond in terms of what they were trying to do on their menu and the overall execution of these concepts.
Read moreThe Shiritaki Pad Thai was stunning and easily the best thing eaten by us all week. The sauce was packed full of sour flavour and notes of heat, the use of nuts throughout just gave it such a great texture and overall, it was worthy of a plate-licking. Great balance throughout. On the more technical side, the Nigiri platter was pulled off very well, with each bite being individual and real thought had been given to achieving a real feel of nigiri in the dish, Again, the sauce used was very accomplished.
Drinks-wise, the Jombucha was a hot day, refreshing treat, packed full of mint. It went really well with the food we had ordered. We also tried one of the cheesecakes and, although decent, this was the weakest part of the experience for us...where the texture of it was just a bit off and not a lot of flavour was captured in the "cheese" part of the dessert. The date base was very pleasant, however.
Vibe of the place is really nice. Sort of a relax, Chinese-tea shop kind of affair. Can't speak highly enough of it, if there's one place we'd really champion in Ubud, it would definitely be Seeds. Worth checking out for sure!
Pros: Creative, Flavourful And Bold Menu Items., Incredible Drinks Menu., Great Location And Overall Vibe To The Place.
Cons: Desserts Could Be Better., Missed Out On The Daily Specials.

Spiritual dinner experience - Edit
I was told not to eat anything raw while in Bali, yet I did risk it and went to have dinner here. Can’t tell if me getting sick the next day is actually related to this. They had amazing options for drinks/teas and the food was okay, nothing special taste-wise though. Very spiritual feel to everything.
