Excellent pizzas, lively atmosphere - Edit
No vegan starters, but several pizza, salad and pasta dishes which were vegan. Vegan meat all pizza was excellent. 12" is enough for 2 people or take half away with you in a box. Atmosphere is lively but family friendly.

...but you can't go wrong with Secret Stash. It's worth asking your server about some of the non-vegan pizzas that catch your eye because many have the option of being made vegan.
The atmosphere here is fun and eclectic with cool decorations. The toppings are eclectic and varied as well. I hadn't had a Thai style pizza in close to a decade so it was nice to see that as one of the many potential flavors. If only we had time to go back the Stash again during our stay!
Pros: Variety of flavors , Options of making some nonveg pies vegan
Cons: Pricey, Ice water would've been nice status post-hike

Killa Vegan Pizza - Edit
Not a huge pizza guy but that's one of the best pizzas I've had and by far the best vegan pizza. Spoke with the owner and she is a vegan as well! A massive amount of attentive staff as well.

Great Vegan Choices - Edit
Vegan meatball sub was great and we built our own vegan pizza which was also very good. Would have loved to have some vegan ranch but overall happy to have more than one vegan option on a menu. Great reason to come back to Crested Butte.

We didn’t get pizza this time, but thoroughly enjoyed the vegan meatball sub, Rupee salad and Bavarian pretzel. The sub was saucy and meatballs were delicious, I would have liked less vegan cheese but just happy to have a vegan option here. The salad was fresh, the pretzel was enormous and great for sharing. They also offer vegan meat alternatives for pizza which is amazing.

Food is Great, Staff is rude - Edit
Food is a 5/5, but the service here at Stash & their sister restaurant Bonez is simply just terrible. Waitress was rude, lacked manners, and all in all just seemed like she did not want to be there, which creates a negative experience for the customer no matter how good the food is.

The Secret Stash had an amazing assortment of vegan options, including vegan cheese, sausage, meatballs, & pepperoni, as well as lots of vegetables!!! I got the vegan meatballs, pepperoni, & cheese & I loved all of it!!!! As far as vegan options go for pizza, they had everything I could have asked for. I’m also allergic to nuts & they were able to tell me none of the vegan things had nuts. The best pizza I’ve ever had, I highly recommend!!!!!!!

Listen, I’m a New Yorker. I’ve lived in and near NYC my whole life. I don’t go saying things like this without meaning it: I’ve never had a better vegan pizza than this one in, of all places, Crested Butte Colorado.
Read moreKyleena (owner) knows what’s up. This place and Bonez are both 10/10 recommendations, even if they only have a couple of vegan options. 100% go to one or both of these places while you’re here, don’t even try anywhere else.

Pizza Heaven in the Mountains - Edit
We loved this place. Had a 16” custom vegan pizza with vegan cheese, artichokes, olives, roasted red peppers and arugula. It was divine. Their hand-tossed crust is excellent- chewy and crispy. Ours was plenty for two very hungry people, might have served three. The salad bar looked great too- maybe next time we visit.
