The side portions are huge and a great price, the mains are a bit pricey, service is always very friendly

A Dublin fave! - Edit
The food was so delicious! We went there twice!
Read moreWe got the Big WAP and the McDaddy fries one time (and a Dae ice cream sandwich!)
Saucy Cow also has a pretty hip vibe.
Dinner time gets pretty packed for the small-ish space but it’s a lot better after 8.
The pricing seems pretty normal for vegan burgers (especially for ones with Beyond Meat).
Pros: Delicious!!, Cool vibes
Cons: Feels cramped at peak times

Delicious but expensive for portion size - Edit
Very delicious vegan pub food on offer, but quite pricey. 14€ for a small burger without sides is steep even if it’s Dublin…

I come here because of the good reviews and was absolutely a good choice. We tried 4 different burgers and and all of them were so tasty and delicious. And the waffle potatoes 10/10.

Excellent vegan ‘junk food’! - Edit
We stopped into the Saucy Cow for an early dinner because it was one of just a few fully vegan menu options in the area. Really cool ambiance, great service, and the food was tasty. The portions are giant. Try the Hot Papi, a southern style fried oyster mushroom sandwich with buffalo sauce. Delish!

Excellent mushroom burger - Edit
I’ve been trying to avoid basic burgers on this trip—seems like that’s the default vegan option at omni restaurants, and also the default vegan restaurant—but I had no regrets about this fried mushroom burger. It was surprisingly light tasting, with plenty of pickles and a highly garlicky sauce.

I had The Space Cowboy, and I must say it’s the best vegan Burger I’ve ever had, so meat like in both flavour and texture. Perfect siege for an afternoon smack, and if you add some fries on the side perfect for dinner.

Disappointed - Edit
I was so looking forward to Saucy Cow Dublin after eating at the branch in Cork but left feeling really disappointed. The chick’n burger was good, nice flavour, a bit of spice and a good texture. The mushrooms are a good flavour and crispy but disintegrate in your mouth, no other texture or mouth feel, sort of turn to dust, they were also very oily and made me feel a little queasy after. The chips were hard and dry. Not the best experience.

This is a good burger joint guys. That means they have good burgers. Great burgers. Flipping fantastic burgers. 5 star burgers guys. Trust niki_nine he knows. niki_nine always knows.
Read moreLet me just say this: deep fried oyster mushroom burger? Yes please!?!? Scintillating. The only negative is that when it was finished I wanted to order another one. Pickles, lettuce, mayo and a toasted sesame seed bun were the perfect compliment to the JUICINESS and crunchiness of the clump of oyster mushrooms that they dunked in oil until they were golden and crispy.
Nicola got a double smashed beyond beat burger. Do I even have to say any more? I had a bite and, you guessed it: amazing.
Our side was some kind of spicy fried tofu and it was also original and tasty.
It was quite expensive, but for what is seemingly the best vegan joint in Dublin, it’s worth it.
5 stars from niki_nine

Charming but limited - Edit
The visual vibe is chic, modern fast food, but the menu is upscale greasy spoon, not much bigger than what a food truck might have & mostly fried items. Food is mainly potato, beyond beef, (beyond?) chicken or mushroom based, not much vegetable action (other than fried potatoes).
Read moreI thought the food was good (I got chicken caesar wrap & the hash brown thing); I just wish there were more (any) healthy options. My food was a bit on the salty side also.
Service was fine & I loved the decor. I would go back this trip if menu were bigger, but fortunately, Dublin has lots of vegan options to check out (although not many all-vegan restaurants).
Pros: Fun, modern decor, Good service, Open late
Cons: Limited menu, No salad, minimal veggies

Was e 1st time visiting Dublin and wanted to try their burgers. It was a turn to an alley, spent a while figuring that out when google maps told me I have reached. Friendly staff to help me check on vegan food without onion and garlic. Ordered Dzouble Cheeze Burger and fries. Overall nice vegan food.

My best meal in Ireland - Edit
Spent a week in Ireland and we visited this place. It’s a small place with a great vibe that’s tucked down a small alleyway in Temple bar but it is so worth it. Had the Secret Saucy and it was one of the best oyster mushroom sandwiches I have ever had. If I end up back in Dublin, I’ll be making another stop for sure.

Mmmmmmmm - Edit
Couldn’t talk my Omni traveling companion to come with me. Her loss. The Caesar chick wrap is excellent and the fries (with skin on) are TOTALLY worth the calories. And for a non-beer drinker, the Zingibeer is yummy.
