Maybe a pricey dish on offer.... - Edit
Had a very cool Nepalese bar attendant, friendly and fun, so was happy to revisit - fun and welcoming.

Great venue for typical Sunday at the pub Aussie style.
Inside on the cold nights, they have a nice big pot belly fire oven, and hold different events.
Spoke to the owner and he said they had multiple vegan dishes, which resulted in 1 - and I wasn't a fan of.
Most of the time I had chips and beer - seems to be my vegan outing staple.
Great atmosphere, in terms of Aussie pub. Clean and hygienic, and large real estate.
For vegan, maybe go with a group, eat up beforehand, and have some chips whilst there.
Pricey chips, drink prices on the rise - but a good place for meet ups and to enjoy Kingston beach.

We had the pickled veg salad starter, gado gado small meal and roasted cauliflower main. They were all really yum, picked veg was exceptional, gado gado was good but small serving - probably not worth the money, and cauliflower was beautiful. Also a good vibe, good service, and good drink options. Would recommend.

Came to Kingston beach just a little after lunch time and decided to check out the Salty Dog for a small meal. At that time they do only do a snacks menu (I think we were there around 3-4pm?) but regardless I checked out the menu online and it’s just a small section of the dinner menu is made into a snacks menu. Options were clearly labelled vegan. The snacks menu was only a small page long so the vegan options were only about 4 items but they were all goodies! I ordered the cauliflower which was so yum, along with some chips. This restaurant is right on the beach with great beach views, very modern and very friendly staff. It was a bit windy so we sat inside (facing the beach) but there is an outdoor area for seating, looks great for kids and looks like they have a lot going on in that area.
