Big salads for everyone - Edit
A very interesting opportunity to design your own salad. There are quite a few ingredients available. The portions are big enough to fill you up. Fast, tasty and healthy!

Great place to munch on lettuce - Edit
Simple establishment - somewhat a hybrid between fast-food and proper restaurant. Popular with locals, not just foreigners. Air-con is running very cold. If you're frequent, ask for a loyalty card.
Read moreSalad Concept's menu is not vegan-friendly so it's best to avoid it and order a custom salad (or wrap). If you don't order "premium" toppings, it's quite cheap. I also don't recommend ordering extra toppings beyond the free ones because you'll get less lettuce (unless you hate lettuce that is). The tortillas they use for wraps look like the ones from supermarket - not the most healthy.
The biggest downside is the choice of vegan dressings. I only know sesame, vegan cheese (see below), tamarind, Japanese soy sauce, French, carrot, passionfruit. All but the first one are too runny for a wrap. The last three are also quite sour and pungent (not for everyone). Apparently, their tofu dressing is not vegan (may contain honey or garlic - who knows). Garlic is sometimes considered non-veg in Buddhism. If you know more, please comment here.
I don't recommend their juices because they're heavily diluted with water. I only order custom salads and some appetizers (potato fries and fried tofu).
P.S. Vegan mac'n'cheese is quite disgusting and not recommended (better to get it at Munchies). It's basically overcooked pasta with "vegan cheese" dressing which doesn't taste anything like cheese.
Good option for Foodpanda delivery.

Good quality every time - Edit
Large portions and you know you’ll get the same quality every time. I am not a huge fan of the tofu, but that’s just a personal preference.

Best wrap in CM - Edit
I could eat at the salad concept every day (we pretty much do!) The staff are super friendly, the ambiance is great and the wraps/salads are deliciously fresh and tasty. Most of the staff members know about veganism too.

Vegan salads to make you full - Edit
Delicious make-your-own salads! Don’t look at the menu just grab the yellow paper and pick your ingredients (the menu will tell you which dressings are vegan). Bit pricy perhaps, ~180 baht for a salad with two extra toppings, but it’s the kind of salad that will make you full. Wide selection of drinks, also has soy milk.

Cons: Bit expensive

DIY as your taste buds and budget desire - Edit
I remember the first time I went into the, original, Salad Concept restaurant in Nimman in 2013 and thought it was so quirky yet brilliant how you can make up your own salad with the little forms found on the tables.
Read moreSo you get 5 free toppings and a dressing for your salad creation, then you can add things on as your taste buds, and budget, desire. The prices are clearly marked on the menu, as well as the SFV salad dressings and toppings. When you are done, you simply pass the check over to your waiter - which is also a bonus when said person might not be the super confident at communicating with you inEnglish.
Pros: innovative concept

Not Enough Vegan Options - Edit
This large restaurant is popular with all types. It's actually the second branch, the first one to open is a much smaller branch that is on the moat.
Read moreSalads galore, you'd expect it to be much better for vegans but it's really not all that. The veggie soups don't appear to be vegan and there are only three vegan dressings out of the large number of choices. The salads are not exciting. They are mostly meat/eggs and don't offer any vegan alternatives such as tofu or tempeh or anything.
I believe there are a couple of options in the main menu such as a wrap and also a vegan mac and cheese which was the only thing that sounded interesting.
It's also expensive.
For a place that is focused on salads you'd expect there to be a lot more veggie/vegan choices but there's not.
The redeeming factor is the coffees. The lattes are made from a proper machine and make the soy milk frothy unlike a lot of places. They do not charge extra for soy milk which is also very rare.
It would do if there's nothing else open - they have long opening hours.
Pros: Good for coffee, Long opening hours
Cons: Expensive, Not enough vegan options

Very clean and great for breakfast/lunch! - Edit
Huge modern restaurant that was great in a pinch when all the vegetarian restaurants in the area were closed for New Year’s Eve. Coffee and smoothies were great! Only got a quinoa breakfast bowl but that was also good. They had other more substantial vegan options too. Staff was very attentive and great service!

Cons: expensive for Chiang Mai
