Friendly staff, devious food, great experince

The Rustic Grill is currently updating their menu, but at the moment they have a fantastic vegan/vegetarian menu with a wide range of tasty appetisers, small meals, mains and deserts.
Their staff are friendly and accommodating.
I had the cheesy garlic bread and beetroot humous with fried pitta bread appetisers. I also had the rainbow no-fish cakes in leek and cheese sauce and sweet potato fries. It all worked so well together. The range of flavours and textures was a real treat to the senses.
I heavily recommend Rustic Grill to vegans and vegetarians alike. The chef was trying out new deserts and gave me a free sample of her banana brownie. It melted in my mouth. The only thing I would change would be the leather seats.

Pros: Friendly staff, Varied vegan/vegetarian menu, Delicious food

Cons: Leather seats

Good choice of vegan options

Ate here during a recent trip to NE Scotland. 6pm on a weekday and the place was surprisingly full. Service was friendly and efficient. There is a wide choice of tapas style small plates, some vegan and others than were easily “veganised” - the staff were very helpful. Gigantes, cauliflower tacos, mint & pea raviolini (with a vegan lemon butter sauce) all delicious. The only downside was that the price of all those small plates mounted up very quickly. All in all a great find in a quiet corner of Aberdeenshire.

Very plant based food friendly

Been several times now and always pleased with vegan options. Staff team knowledgable about vegan food and there are other vegan foods not on current main menu. So pleased this progressive food venue has come to Turriff!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Friendly, knowledgable staff team, Good for dining out with mixed group of friends

Cons: Very popular so need to book
