Options galore! - Edit
I would not necessarily think as a vegan Rum and Crab Shack would be an "option" for me, but was pleasantly surprised by their vegan offerings on the menu (both drinks and food).

My only minor "gripe" would be that they were fries rather than chips - but that's just me being pedantic.

Visited with family who aren’t vegan so this was great as it had options for everyone. It’s quite busy so I recommend booking in advance.

Delicious food and quirky place - Edit
Amazing vegan fish and chips and a lovely place to eat in. We were seated in a nice booth and could take the dog in. If I had to change anything, I would swap the chips for thicker cut but they were still good.

Loads of vegan options and staff knew what they were on about too. Vegan fish and chips was delicious. Rounded off with some dairy free ice cream. Great service and great meal.

Tasty Tofu-Fish and Chips - Edit
Went in the late afternoon on a Sunday, were trying to get an early dinner although we're told that the kitchen did not resume again until 5pm. This wasn't an issue for us, but something to keep in mind. We had the vegan fish and chips and the vegan jambalaya, both delicious and very generous portions. There were 3 vegan mains in total, only complaint is that a vegan starter option would have been nice.

Impressive Vegan Fish and Chips 🍟 - Edit
Vegan options weren’t amazing at the Rum and Crab shack, but they do offer an decent portion of Vegan Fish and Chips. The ‘fish’ is tofu based and was a very generous portion. The interior is fun and also still has its traditional Cornish charm. This place offers great views of the St Ives Harbour and a fab selection of drinks. Worth a visit if you want some evening drinks with a view.
