Better than expected - Edit
From the outside, Royal London appears to be a typical pub/bar with food offering, like some certain big chains and I went in knowing the menu but having a low expectation of the quality as is par for those places. So I was pleasantly surprised to order the grilled mac and cheese sandwich and enjoy some melty, cheesy goodness on a plate (assuming you like Violife cheese). Service could have been a tad quicker for how busy it was (not very) but the staff at the bar are nice and friendly so overall it was a good experience.
