Always delightful to go to a pub with a separate Vegan menu. The Rose and Crown was the venue for an annual Christmas gathering with my school friends. We had a table in a cosy corner and the crackers added a nice festive touch. Well sized portions and we all enjoyed the food. Would happily return.

Nice vegan curry - Edit
Popped in for business and looked for the vegan menu that others had described. Pleased to find a lot of choice, and ended up with a nice curry. Good value, lots of other options looked just as nice too. Happy to recommend.

would definitely eat here again wen we are in the area.
only slight downside was the service - three of our main meals appeared - but it was several minutes before the fourth and our side dishes appeared :(

What a great vegan menu for a pub! I had the lentil falafel to start, butternut squash and sweet potato tart for main and the chocolate tart for dessert. All great, tasty food! Will return to try their treacle tart next

Always loved this pub/restaurant. But they've introduced a new vegan menu so I now have big choice. Five mains/three starters, desserts and sides to choose from. I had harissa hummus with the lavash bread (would return for that alone), a roast butternut squash and sweet potato tart and a side of broccoli. Too full for dessert but they looked great. Mains £7.95 to £11.95. Dinner for two with starters, mains and sides and wine £50. Would definitely recommend
