Absolutely adore the retreat have been going for years and love seeing them all. The cafe when it’s open is incredible and the sandwiches are HUGE. Cannot recommend this place enough

Worth the trip to Kent! - Edit
We came to Kent especially to visit this place and weren’t disappointed! The atmosphere was lovely, burgers were yummy, and couldn’t leave without grabbing a couple of slices of cake for the road! We also had a little shop in the pantry and gift shop. From the animals, to the staff, to the delicious food, this place is really special and a ‘must visit’

Great community feel & tasty lunch - Edit
This was such a nice afternoon out, they care so much for the animals at the retreat and it's great to see an animal rescue centre that cares for all animals (i.e. is vegan). We had the moving mountains burger and the cauliflower tikka pie at the cafe and it was great! They also have a vegan deli on site and we picked up some delicious artisan cheeses.

Free entry to the retreat. Free parking. Easy to find. A haven for rescued animals. Amazing olace to visit. The on site cafe is 10/10 so delicious. Great options for food ranging from breakfast, lunches and dinners. All vegan restaurant. So yummy. Something for everyone.

Travelled all the way here as a birthday surprise from my partner! What an amazing day knowing all the money you spend there goes to a great cause. Got to meet a load of the animals too on a tour which was amazing! All the staff and volunteers are amazing and knowledgeable and the food was great too! Need to come again just for the scotch ‘eggs’!

My wife organised the founders tour with Billy for my birthday and we had the best day out. We had a wonderful tour from Billy who was kind, passionate and told some wonderful stories of the sanctuary and the animals who have found their way there. After our tour we enjoyed some bubbles and then had lunch in the cafe which was amazing and had so many great options. This isn’t fine dining, it’s a real farm experience and we loved it, such genuine people. Amazing place for kids. This place has a wonderful and very important message for everyone.

This place is amazing. So lovely to walk around and see the animals all looking so happy and well cared for. Great to be able to have some food during our visits. There is such a big menu so something for everyone here. The staff are fabulous and clearly put their all into running this place. Can’t wait to visit again 💕

I had a budda bowl and added chick’n and potato salad but I didn’t need to! It was very filling, tasty and I really loved the variety. My other half had a “fish” burger. You’re bound to find something you want to eat here with such a variety of food on the menu.
