Superb vegan roast

One of the best vegan roasts I have had, the nut roast was tasty, perfectly cooked vegetables, roast potatoes, a nice Yorkshire, red cabbage, gravy, parsnips etc all very very good.

Pros: Tasty nut roast , Perfect roasted potatoes , Lovely staff

Sunday nut roast, it was actually a big meal, the large plate may not make it look as big as it was at The Refreshment Rooms in Birkenhead

Amazing Vegan Options

I've been eating at the refreshment rooms for quite some time. Friendly, helpful staff. I've had many vegan dishes, like the sloppy joe burger, roast dinner and many more. They now do a plant based version of their Salt and Vinegar sauce 🤤

Refreshing Change

Had a very pleasant afternoon in the Refreshment Rooms we had a delicious homemade nut roast with fresh vegetables and vegan gravy followed up with some vegan ice cream made at Nichols in Parkgate. An added bonus was some vegan beer from the Neptune brewery in Liverpool. Would highly recommend.

Pros: Plenty of Vegan options, Food is home cooked and prepared on premises, Historic setting on site of old Mersey ferry.
