Good sandwiches - Edit
Vegan Reuben is excellent if you like beets. The Roslyn vegan sandwich was delicious with lots of veggies! Appreciate having options in the area!

Spoiled food, missing ingredients - Edit
We got the breakfast quesadillas and the Ruben sandwich. The menu doesn’t state what comes in the quesadilla and she mentions halfway though me eating it that it is supposed to come with sausage and they ran out. Wish I knew that before they made it. They also charged full price even though it was missing the main ingredient. There was hardly any filling in the quesadillas (a couple spinach leaves and less than 20 black beans) and for $17! The salsa was spoiled too. The Ruben wasn’t good either. Definitely stay away from this place. We tried all the other restaurants in the area and they were all better.

Detour, yes. - Edit
I’m on a 6.5 hr drive. Last thing I need is a detour a few miles off course, but this hidden gem… absolutely worth it. Set in rustic Roslyn, this vibrant cafe has numerous vegan options. I can order breakfast or lunch, I’m told by the friendly person orienting me to the menu. I opt for the breakfast quesadillas after hearing much fanfare. I wait in the sunny outdoor patio far from the freeway, seemingly far from everywhere. There’s a rainbow flag and signs promoting social justice. I feel welcome here, regardless of what identities I might posses; I can imagine bringing any of my diverse friends or family here . Light breeze, birds chirp, it’s all very peaceful. And, the food! Beans, carrots, spinach, cheese alt, pico, avocado, vegan meat, all delicious. 10/10.

Decen, but not great - Edit
There aren't a whole lot of vegan options in this area, so I'm glad this place offers some. However, the options appeared fairly minimal. Maybe I needed to ask for others, I don't know. We both got the vegan breakfast sandwich, which had nice, fresh ingredients. But it was extremely messy, with some kind of sauce all over it, to the point that it wasn't very enjoyable to eat. The service and food was pretty fast. And other people's pics look better. So I would probably give this place another try and see if there are other, better vegan options.

It took a little long, but these were worth the wait! Very delicious vegan quesadillas we took to go and ate on our road trip to Arizona! Loved them!! Great friendly service too!

Good vegan options, friendly staff - Edit
I had the vegan quesadilla which was massive. Made with cashew cheese, spinach, black beans, and tons of avocado. It was pricey but a ton of food! Also had a vegan soup (carrot ginger). They were sold out of vegan pastries both times I went, but allegedly have a vegan scone! The staff is very nice and friendly.

Incredible! - Edit
Love this adorable cafe. Latte is amazing, and the vegan breakfast quesadilla was incredible. I also had to try the little lemon cookies, which were melt in my mouth delicious.

Options and educated staff - Edit
Great cafe in town, has 3 vegan menu options; quesadilla, beet Rubin & veggie/hummus sandwich. I choose the beet Rubin and it was fabulous. With current dining restrictions it would be preferred to have eaten from a plate, as it was a bit messy, but totally worth it! Also they have at least 2-3 vegan desserts. Recommend supporting this cute local cafe making a difference in a small town.

A gem! - Edit
Wow- we're so lucky this place exists in such a small rural town! They have many vegan food, coffee, and dessert options. We got the vegan quesadilla (tastes like it has a nutritional yeast based vegan cheese), vegan breakfast sandwich (which includes a veg sausage patty), and the best piece of vegan cake. We'll definitely be back!

Decent Vegan Options - Edit
Stopped by the Red Bird cafe with my Omni mom and sisters. Vegan options were clearly marked on the menu. There are three solid vegan options and many more vegetarian (that could be possibly modified to vegan). I got the vegan quesadilla that came with avocado and pico de gallo. Was a bit expensive, but you get a large potion which was great. The vegan cheese is made with cashews, but I asked and they said they could make an oat based cheese if you’re allergic to nuts. You order outside at the window, and can sit outside or inside. The outside patio was super cute, and tables were six feet apart. For such a small town, I was pleasantly surprised by the vegan options at this cafe. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a good brunch spot in Roslyn!

The best beet Reuben and korma soup ever! - Edit
This place is a little gem in the mountains that has lots of delicious vegan options from breakfast, lunch, espresso drinks and super yummy baked treats! I’ve eaten there many times and my favorites are their hemp or oat milk lattes(best foam ever), the beet Rueben(they brine the beets in house), korma soup(they have a vegan soup option daily), breakfast quesadilla(their nut cheese is amazing) and the brownies and superfood cookies. There’s also a cool kids play room and a beautiful outside patio. Highly recommend!!
