Great vegan options - Edit
Several delicious vegan options for appetizers, mains, and dessert, all clearly labelled on the menu. Very creative dishes that go beyond just your typical veggie burger or mixed green salad. I loved The Wintering Bowl. Great place for vegans and omnivores alike. Nice ambiance. It can get busy so I recommend reserving a table.

Very good - Edit
We shared a couple of vegan bowls and they were very good. We had the Lentil Nourish Board and the La Pastille. Both were very nice indeed. There is a great selection of drinks and the staff are very friendly. We would thoroughly recommend this bistro for excellent vegan options.

Fantastic vegan options! - Edit
I heard great things about Raven and I was not disappointed. They have clearly marked vegan options on their menu. I ordered chorizo flautas (my favourite!!!) and la pastilla. The portion sizes were huge! I couldn’t finish my meal.

5 stars for flavour and service - Edit
Unfortunately, I cannot give a five star review due to this restaurant not being a vegan or vegetarian restaurant, but the vegan options are absolutely amazing. Shared appetizers were tasty, and our entree was excellent. Presentation points to the max. Nice to have a different option in Jasper. There are cheaper options in Jasper but you get what you pay for.

Delicious and very satisfying - Edit
I had the vegan La Pastilla today for lunch and I highly recommend. It's veggies and spices wrapped in phyllo with tomato chutney, arugula, sliced almonds and cashew cream. The meal has the perfect mix of flavours and textures. I'm so glad Happy Cow led me to this place. The service was friendly, relaxed atmosphere and they gave me a prime window table despite me dining alone.

Delicious Mediterranean food! When we went the menu was a little different, but I’m sure the food has not suffered.

Lovely meal - Edit
The vegan La Pastilla, an assortment of veggies, rice and spices wrapped in phyllo and served over tomato chutney is delicious and filling. Rounding out the meal with the Chocolate Pecan Tart was ideal. They have an extensive selection of beverages, although I didn’t confirm if any of the wines are vegan. The service was fantastic, and they permitted me to have my dogs with me on the patio. Each patio seating area is surrounded by a half wall which allows some privacy. They have heaters, too, as the temperature drops precipitously after sunset.

Go to must, as vegan - Edit
Starting our national park visit, i was wondering if i would be able to find vegan restaurants in Jasper. There are no fully vegan restaurants, but this restaurant does it's very best to accommodate everyone.

WOW - Edit
Wow wow wow is what I have to say about this place! This is one of those rare non vegan restaurants that does veganism so well that I truly wish I could give them 5 stars on here! La Pastilla is seriously the best, most unique and flavorful dish I've ever had. And the cocktail The Bocephus is the best drink I've ever had! This restaurant is a MUST visit. It reinvents vegan food!

Terrible smoothie bowl😜terrible service - Edit
It’s really hard to go wrong with a mango/pineapple smoothie bowl but this restaurant made it possible. I had no idea what I was eating. It looked like a white, yogurty consistency with very questionable taste. The granola on top had chunks of salt in it and the kiwi tasted of onion cuz the knife it was cut with hadn’t been properly washed. Eww! The server didn’t have any *ucks to give even after I gave her feedback.

Great vegan food in this cosy restaurant: we had spring rolls with tofu chorizo, falafel and hummus, and zusketti (zucchini/courgette raw spaghetti with eggplant/aubergine caponata and cashew sauce).
Read moreThe vegan desserts also looked very appealing, but we were really full so we didn't order them.

Incredible experience! - Edit
I had the summer rolls which were super delicious for starters and then I had the Buddha bowl made vegan which was really filling with great flavour! There were options for heavier meals but I was in the mood for something a bit lighter. Staff was very accommodating and willing to offer vegan options/modifications for most meals!

Very good meal - Edit
They have a 2 for 1 lunch promo for this month so I decided to go there with a friend. Ordered the Black Bean Stew which was really good. I didn't know it's a bit spicy but I didn't mind eating it. I also ordered the vegan Falafel Buddha bowl. Very satisfying! They also have vegan desserts. The meal was a bit pricey but this is Jasper. Recommend this place when visiting Jasper.

Great food and 2 vegan dessert options! - Edit
Stopped here for dinner (lunch) after reading the reviews! I had a very yummy Raven salad with tomato and coconut soup. The soup needed salt and pepper adding to it. I also got a pecan chocolate tart too (there was also a flavoured donut on offer). I sat near the window for more natural light as it was quite dark further in. The ambience was lovely due to the chilled, relaxing music they were playing. The service was great!

Superb meal. They really understand plant based cooking - Edit
Whilst meat dishes are served the vegan options are by no means an afterthought or a tick box exercise. It was all superb. I would particularly recommend the tofu chorizo spring rolls.

I had a glass of local wine, the vegan chorizo spring rolls, and the zucchini, eggplant pasta dish; all very tasty. They have a vegan appetizer and three vegan entrees, all labeled on the menu. Slightly upscale ambiance, good service. Everything we had was satisfying.

Why didn't I find out about this place sooner?! - Edit
Absolutely amazing! I want to eat here every day!!
Read moreI have been to Raven twice, once for lunch and once for dinner.
For dinner i went with my partner and we tried all the vegan dinner items on the menu (1 appetiser and 2 mains). The spring rolls were delicious. I feel like calling them spring rolls is a bit of a misnomer because they are more like sausage rolls or something. They are served with a dipping sauce which i have no idea what is was but was tasty as anything. You only get two spring rolls with the serving though. They are large but i think that should have been specified. The serving sizes for the main meals are huge and both were delicious. I had the strudel and my partner had the black bean rice thingo. Both were delicious but i think the black bean dish was better (the grass is always greener on the other side).
The lunch menu though!! I think this is new because i swear they didn't have a full lunch menu the first time i went to raven. This section is amazing though!! I went again with my partner and a friend. My partner had the vegan chilli which was quite tasty but a rather small serving. He does eat a lot though. My friend and i got the falafel buddha bowl (mine vegan and hers not) and that thing was divine! There was everything you could ever want in a bowl. The falafels were delicious, a huge serving of avocado, tasty brussel sprouts (even if you don't like them you have to try them!!), this crazy good dressing and all sorts of other great stuff. After lunch we each got one of the coconut carrot donuts which were amazing!!!
The staff at raven are also super friendly and knowledgeable. I had a great experience here and loved every minute of it.
Pros: Unique and delicious vegan options, Vegan dessert!!!, Great atmosphere and staff

Delicious vegan menu - apps, dinner and dessert! - Edit
While it may be not a 100% vegan restaurant, their vegan menu is to die for - limited to a couple options but I love every single one of them - springs, a stew and the chocolate tart are some of my favourites! GREAT staff and its nice to enjoy vegan meals in more of a classy restaurant as opposed to a café or bistro setting. Quite expensive, but great for a once in a while dinner out! They LOVE vegans.

Tasty plant based dining in Jasper - Edit
Great find for anyone wanting to enjoy a tasty meal out and follow a plant based diet at the same time. We shared spring rolls for starters and there were a choice of two options for main course. I had the Moroccan chickpea and kale strudel which was delicious and my wife had the smokey Portuguese black bean stew which was also tasty but I think I made the better choice. Friendly and efficient staff.
