Helpful and friendly

In the Kings Lynn area with my parents for a couple of days for a family funeral so I contacted the Rathskeller just because I saw it on Happy Cow. I advised them that there would be 1 vegan, 2 veggies and an omni. Table was booked for 7.30 but we were hungry an hour earlier - no problem! On the menu was a vegan burger or butternut squash risotto. The waitress said that mushroom risotto was also available but not written. Turns out that because they knew we were coming they’d got that as an extra option. We had one of each option and Dad had the fish and chips which he said was the best he’d ever had. Mum and I shared both risottos. For desert I had a rather tasty brownie with vegan ice cream. It not haute cuisine but was great for a mixed family.

Has a separate vegan menu so the best place to eat in Lynn from my perspective.

Summer2021

Decent veggie/vegan options and very accommodating staff, but no actual separate vegan menu. Items just marked on main menu with vegan options.

Pros: Massive portions, nice bistro vibe

Cons: Not always clear what vegan options available
