Nice shop and restaurant

Good spot for a pit-stop on the R62 or when exploring Montagu. Clearly marked vegan meals, plus muffins and milk alternative (almond) available for drinks.

best vegan ice cream in portland!

seasonal special always come through, special human making incredible ice cream.
date cardamon, or lemon poppy, heck even the vanilla ice cream is superb!!! we are so lucky to have Rambling Rose grace us in Portland Oregon!!!

Pros: seasonal specials, always!, date cardamon, vanilla ice cream, so good!

Best options in Montagu

Delicious vegan options. A couple of curries on the main menu (the mushroom curry is especially good!) and a great vegan breakfast! If you go, you must try the Portuguese sweet potato bread and the vegan / sugar free muffins too! There’s also a good vegan range in the shop, including vegan biltong made from veggies 😋

Vegan Options

Although they have to main meals that is Vegan, they both are curries and warm winter food and it would be lovely if they could have a main meal salad that is Vegan, sadly they don’t even have a Vegetarian salad option.
