Oh my goodness, THE ROAST! - Edit
Please please do yourself a favour and go for the Sunday roast. It was superb. Every vegetable tasted like it had been cooked lovingly and individually rather than all boiled in a big pot like most places. The crunchy, fluffy potatoes! And the vegan cauliflower cheese! And the crumbly soft butternut lattice!

I had the vegan breakfast here today and I’d probably go as far as saying that it was in the top 2% of vegan breakfasts I’ve experienced from any outlet. The portion sizes were huge and there was an option to add ‘additional items’ too. They offer vegan options on most of the standard menu items also so, the next time we’re back in Farnham, we’ll be in again!

Had really high hopes the menu looks amazing, unfortunately after waiting for an hour and a half our starters arrived stone cold and we left without eating. I’m aware they had staffing issues but they should not have been accepting delivery orders and prioritising them over the customers in the pub.

We returned for breakfast the following day

Best vegan food ever had - Edit
Menu offers vegan options on everything. The chef is a genius and keeps evolving. The first time i went, i ended going back every night for a week. Every vegan that goes here raves about it. Some of my carnivores friends actually have the vegan options as they are so good.

I had a really lovely full vegan, all day breakfast with 2 sausages, This rashers, hash browns, mushrooms, spinach, toasted ciabatta and Spicy beans as an option. Very tasty, well cooked and a couple of excellent coffees. Nice place, nice atmosphere, friendly attentive staff. Not too pricey. Highly recommended. #Veganuary

Update:
The menu is mostly vegan - or have ‘vegan option’ on most items! A very pleasant surprise. Not sure if this has always been the case, but they recently went through a kitchen renovation. Have been a few more times since my initial post, for burgers and a Sunday roast - have been very impressed both times. The roast was seriously good (pic doesn’t do it justest). The staff are all super lovely, too. Great place!

What a great find. Came in for a roast but due to kitchen renovations they werent availble. However we were so impressed we the variety of vegan choices we sacked off the sunday roadt to stay. All pasta and salad dishes are vegan with the option for non vegan items to be added. Their were multiple vegan burgers and the option to adapt non vegan ones to be vegan. I enjoyed their louisana "chicken" burger. It was delicious. We will be back 😃

Option to add meat and a few meat based meals but the vast majority of the menu is vegan as standard and you need to amend it to add meat, a refreshing twist on it usually being the other way around!

I had brunch here with my daughter to celebrate her birthday. The food menu is excellent with good vegan options. The staff were brilliant, with just the right mix of friendliness and service. The Queens Head offers both a pub and a dining experience and is perfectly located for shopping trips. Just remember to book ahead!

We really wanted to love this place, their vegan options are plenty and not just the same offerings as everywhere else and they also allow dogs which is great. We went on the recommendation of someone else so not sure if we just picked a bad day but the pub smelled strongly of sewage and cigarettes, the burger was quite overcooked and the staff were not very welcoming. It was very expensive for what you get and the overall experience wasn't pleasant so I can't recommend this place unfortunately.

An extensive vegan menu, with more than just the typical vegan options. I had a delicious vegan halloumi and butter bean starter and the vegan chicken and pesto pasta from the specials menu. There's also live music on a Sunday.

The pub for vegans - Edit
This pub is run by vegans themselves. We were surprised by the large selection of vegan menus. There is everything you could want in a pub - from starters, to burgers, to sandwiches, to breakfast, to dessert. The food is delicious, and the service is friendly. We will certainly pay the Queens Head another visit.

Mainly vegan and veggie food with a few meat options for those who want them but the focus is definitely on serving delicious creative hearty vegan food. We’ve been blown away by the BigMak, vegan pie, homemade tortillas with homemade hummus, and many more dishes. Everything is hot, fresh, and tasty every single time!

Nice and fast service. Wide variety of options but many of the vegan ones weren't available as they were updating their menu. We had the full English breakfast with falafel and hummus as add-ons (were not necessary unless you're super hungry!)

Our family’s moat favourite pub on the planet - Edit
Update... Meat-free Monday at the Queen’s Head with their incredible vegan menu. We were so lucky to be invited to a sampling evening of the new menu. There’s so much choice and we tried everything on the menu. A massive thumbs up from our whole family! 24th Feb is the launch night for the new vegan line up. Remember, the owners are vegans so they’re super-particular about the food tasting special.
Read moreWe’ve been going to the QH for years and the menu just gets better for Vegans. There’s a full page of the Vegan menu and a separate page for vegetarians. The food is simply delicious. The service is 1st class. The QH should be an award winning pub. It’s so much nicer than the pretentious gastro pubs. The food at QH is well priced and the beer selection is terrific.

Highly recommend this place, such good service and food - we had the vegan breakfast & the SLT (sausage lettuce tomato), good coffee with oat milk (choice of others) and their homemade chilli (vegan) mayo was lovely, too! Can’t wait to go back!

I have been here a few times for breakfast, they have a really extensive vegan menu. I’ve had the mushrooms and homemade beans on ciabatta which was really good, large portion sizes so good value for money.
